Baron Davis Ready For NBA Return, Interested In Joining Clippers Or Warriors

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jul 14, 2014 6:57 pm

Baron Davis has been training and hopes to make a return to the NBA this season.

Davis said the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors would be the best fits and that he could play 15 to 20 minutes per game.

Davis suffered a torn ACL and MCL in the 2012 NBA Playoffs while with the New York Knicks.

Davis previously played for both the Clippers and Warriors.

I find it hard to believe that he'd still have enough to make an impact. But I've been fooled before.

He secretly got something to make him younger, more athletic when he was abducted by the Monstars last summer.

His game relied alot on his impressive handle and deception. I don't see how he can do that anymore with his legs.

I am a big Baron Davis fan but I can't envision him making a contribution to an NBA team. Regardless, I wish him well.

Not sure he would help a NBDL team at this point.

I thought he silently retired. He tooks his time though to come back.

He has a nice thing going on in Hollywood, doing tv and such. So I don't think he should come back and play. Has been out of the league for 2 years.

It would be cool if he became the only player in NBA history to be a part of both Charlotte Hornets teams. Let him and Brian Roberts battle for backup PG minutes behind Kemba.

To clarify, Roberts would win it easily, (I hope) but I just want to see Baron, my favorite original Hornet, in a Hornet uniform once more for the sake of nostalgia.

If he's going back to the NBA then The Suns should take a serious look at him. I think we're one guard away from winning this thing.

B-Diddy played alright for us in the 2nd half of the season.

He even had a dunk in Game 1 against the Heat along with 10 points in the 1st quarter!

But I just don't see it, unless he's in tip-top shape. Honestly though, I just don't see how his body could handle it.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.
