Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Sep 5, 2014 12:11 am

Jeremy Tyler will be released by the Sacramento Kings at some point.

Tyler has a contract guarantee date in the middle of this month.

Tyler was acquired by the Kings in a trade with the New York Knicks.

The funny thing is he's the 2nd best center after Cousins.

Tyler showed glimpses. He's very skilled offensively and can post as well as hit the 15-18 foot jumper. His problem has been that he's still looks lost at times (especially defensively) and has a tendency of holding the ball too long (offensively). He's got good size and athleticism and is quite well spoken (he's a smart guy). He's only 23 still (turned 23 a couple months ago)...which would make him younger than about 18 players taken in the 2014 draft. A 6-10" 260lb PF/C with good offensive skills should find a taker. His vet minimum salary is only about 600k to boot (since he's not had many years of NBA service).
