Re: Introducing RealGM's Redesign
I don't like not having the post reply/board related options there when you press page down. Too much clutter at the bottom.
Gfycat implementation is gamechanging though. Screw gifs.

I like not having to zoom in to read texts but what happened to the topic list button? It was there one then vanished and it makes it a pain to return to the topic list after you read a thread. And I do miss the team logos but I'm welcome to change.

Phone app not working.
Desktop version is much, much cleaner.
I can access & post using IEX on my PC.
I can access & post using Safari on my iPad.
When I click on a thread link via my Tapatalk APP, it does not open & I get an error message. ("Failed to process XML data due to unknown error.")
That is the mode of access that I have used the most for several years.
Any suggestions from anyone? HELP! LOL.

Update: On PC it looks great, but why do the teams and "Return to ..." only appear on desktop?

Yeah, I like everything else, but the app not working anymore kills it for me.

Much props to the web admins (dream34, et al.) for addressing everything quickly.
There's always an uproar when change comes and you guys responded extremely fast. The desktop version looks awesome!

Re: Introducing RealGM's Redesign
Is there a way to block the news links at the top? Or at least get them to be forum-specific? I only come here for the baseball forum and don't care to see anything about football or basketball and certainly don't want links taking up 50% of each page. I told AdBlock to get rid of them which seems to have worked, but I liked seeing the baseball links before. It's also very clunky and has a LOT of wasted space for those of us that primarily use a desktop. Half of the horizontal screen space is entirely empty, and there's a lot of poorly used real estate at the top of every page as well. I stopped using Yahoo almost entirely because of their poor re-design and I really hope I don't have to stop using this place too.

Re: Introducing RealGM's Redesign
As a web developer, I can assure that responsive design is the way to go. The pendulum has swung rapidly towards mobile browsing. My top site went from 30% mobile views to 70% mobile views in less than a year, and it's probably going to go even higher than that.

Any chance we could get the "my posts" feature pinned next to "notifications"?

Why did you "fix" what wasn't broken? The layout, everything, was much more user-friendly previously. Bad call, ref.

Meh, I'll get used to it eventually.
Don't think it's anything special.

I do like 90% of my posting from that app. The current forum doesn't even have a mobile version, so it's a pain to navigate on phones.
We either need a responsive forum layout or the app to return.

I'm sure there are lots of mobile users, but does that mean that you alienate the desktop users? Maybe your site went from 30% mobile to 70% mobile because those are the only people you catered to and there wasn't a viable desktop version??? How hard is it to make a version of a site that utilizes the large widescreen that probably 95% of desktops are using? I see plenty of forums that have done this, even just using generic vBulletin code or whatever. It's just lazy to make a site that only uses 55% of the screen width, with nothing but white bars on each side.
