Glen Rice Jr. Signs With Rio Grande Valley In D-League

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jan 12, 2015 5:54 pm

The Rio Grande Valley Vipers have acquired guard/forward Glen Rice, Jr.

Rice (6’6”, 215, Georgia Tech) played with the Washington Wizards, where he averaged 2.7 ppg over the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. He was drafted 35th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2013 NBA Draft, before being traded that night to the Wizards.

Rice was a member of the Vipers’ 2012-13 NBA D-League Championship squad.

Why don't the Lakers take a shot at him?

I agree, any team with a open SG spot should give him a chance. I like his game and upside, he has more talent then a few guys in this league.

Just needs some good coaching. I also don't understand how Seth Curry isn't in the league.

Both of these players are easily NBA talent and if I were a GM rebuilding I would put these guys on my roster.
