Lou Amundson Agrees To Sign With Knicks For Remainder Of Season

The New York Knicks have reached agreement with Lou Amundson on a deal for the remainder of the season, a league source tells RealGM.

Amundson has been on two 10-day contracts with the Knicks.

The Knicks acquired Amundson in a trade earlier this month with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder before he was waived.

Amundson has averaged 4.7 points and 6.5 rebounds in 23.2 minutes over six games with the Knicks.

Why. The guy is 32 and is what he is. Why not try to find another 23 year old like Galloway that might end up turning into a player for the future.

He is 32...and he is what he is. BUT his vet presence, on court awareness, his hustle and, his demeanor are probably just as valuable as his offense is lacking.

Yeah I feel like cutting a guy that has played with his energy and hustle would be a bad look. Hes been really solid defensively and plays with 100% heart, which on a team filled with guys trying to find their place in the league, its a good presence to have.

The better question is, why can't REALGM find a picture of Lou Amondson in a Knicks uniform.
