Bulls fans are the biggest haters out there, don't worry. Still mad they missed out on LBJ/Melo, and have an uncertain future with Rose.

There's a far better chance that Rose is out of the league by 2018 then playing at an all-star level, something which he is no longer. He was once great but is clearly in the middle of a Penny Hardaway/Grant Hill type freefall from stardom due to the injuries. Letting go of the illusion is difficult but still shouldn't be ignored.

As for AD, perhaps you need to read up on how restricted free agency works?

My math could be wrong, but this means that a player could get as high as 220 milion dollars for 5 years in the 2017 free agency (using current CBA max of 35% with 7.5% annual raises).

Hate to say this but it looks like all the stuff that happened with Donald Sterling was a good thing for the league after all. If it wasn't for the sale of the clippers, the valuation of NBA teams would have remained low and the caps wouldn't have seen anywhere near this much of an increase. But seeing as Owners now know their teams are worth way more, they are willing to dish out more money for the players. Hopefully this means that the next lockout will be extremely short or non-existent. The sale of the Clippers has effectively killed two birds with one stone (players saying they don't get enough money, owners saying that the expenses are getting to high).

Maybe about 11 of them still living in their mom's basements that are total homers and have no clue what happens over on West Madison. Melo was a terrible idea and LeBron was never coming to the Bulls. We've got much bigger issues to worry about (like the front office basically getting a free pass forever),

Players are going to get overpaid, teams worth are inflating, and yet we the people havent gotten paid back for teams using our money to build stadiums & not pay property tax INSANE bull

Team value does not directly influence the cap. The recent TV deal is 100% the cause of the increased salary cap. Salaries will go through the roof over the next few seasons. The new revenue and team values are something to squabble over, so I doubt it will prevent another financial battle between the players and the league.

It was more of the TV deal. The Sterling situation just shot the NBA in the foot with the upcoming CBA talks.

Who's doing these projections?
Once the fed changes interest rates there is no way this growth is possible.
