Steve Kerr Could Be Out Through All-Star Break

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Nov 5, 2015 3:46 pm

Steve Kerr is on an indefinite leave of absence as he deals with complications from multiple back surgeries.

Luke Walton is currently interim head coach of the Golden State Warriors.

One Warriors player said the team “wouldn’t be surprised if it takes (Kerr) until after the All-Star break” to rejoin the team, ESPN's J.A. Adande communicated Wednesday.

Kerr did not join the team on its trip to Houston and New Orleans last week, but he has attended both Warriors games at Oracle this week.

Kerr's participation is limited mostly to pregame and halftime dialogue with Walton and the rest of the coaching staff.

His complications were extremely serious, I hope he doesn't rush back. No one's health is worth a few basketball games.

Luke Walton is currently the head coach of the NBA Champions. This just amuses me to no end

I like Luke Walton... he fits the personality of this team.

It shows though that you have to be a pretty awful coach to take such a talented group and have them playing average.... like Mark Jackson was doing. :banghead:
