Hornets Acquire Marco Belinelli For 22nd Overall Pick

The Charlotte Hornets have acquired to acquire Marco Belinelli from the Sacramento Kings for the 22nd overall pick.

I thought they wanted teams to take hawes' or lamb's salary for the 22nd pick. by trading the pick for belinelli they took on $6 more mil in their books.... doesnt make any sense. mj strikes again

Rich Cho has been pretty good for them so far. He's a metrics guy but I'm not seeing anything in the numbers that makes this a good deal for CHA.

I have to believe the Pacers would have taken Hawes and the #22 and send back a 2nd.

Belinelli's stats were horrible last season, but prior to that they were pretty good. The Hornets have been accumulating outside shooters for a couple of years now, so it sort of makes sense, but only if he can return to form.
