Blake Griffin: I Didn't Deserve Summer Break

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Sep 1, 2016 4:18 pm

Blake Griffin didn't take much time off this summer as he looks to bounce back from an injury-plagued season.

Griffin was a guest this week on J.J. Redick's podcast.

“I took a week off after I had surgery and then started rehab a week after that, and I’ve been going all the way through,” Griffin said. “I actually just got back from vacation, so I took a week off there, so basically two weeks (off) this whole summer. I kind of had in my mind, I’m just going to go all the way through. In my mind, I didn’t deserve a summer break.”

Blake,
Listen to me.

This is your last chance to win it

I know the odds are stacked against you. but this is it.
you finally have a back up big man.

You need to average 27,11,5 all year (so basically better than Bron)

Isn't this his contract year? I expect him to have good numbers off that alone.

I also think he'll sign with the Thunder.

If the Clippers do make it to the WCF, they're not getting swept by the Dubs. In fact, they match up the best with them among any West contender.

So basically he took as much time off as your average working American?

Probably right. Warriors would likely finish you guys off in 5 games.

That's because he's doing more physical body work for almost 8 months straight than your average American that has polish sausages on the back of there necks, extra chins, beer bellys, love handles, and kankles who thinks pulling a trigger on a gun makes them athletic and more relevant than they actually are! LOL!

Its constant pressure on you knees, ankles, back, etc for 3 quarters of a year.

Its easy for the average American to compare themselves to an athlete that they watch sitting on the couch watching for entertainment.

Not that I'm talking about YOU, but the average American.

Could it really be possibly for a player to have a podcast and not have everything they say be scoured for slander and allusion? I don't know if that's props to JJ, or it just turns out that he's as boring as he seems on the court.

clips still have terrible wing players, they have no one that can defend Klay/Iggy/Green...wont even bother mentioning Durant.

Like the Clippers were supposed to be swept by the Spurs in 2015?

Thank you for not mentioning Durant.
I agree with the bad wing players

Seems like Wesley Johnson and Luc Mbah A Moute will be our defensive only guys
