76ers Claim Mo Williams Off Waivers

The Philadelphia 76ers have claimed Mo Williams off waivers.

Williams was traded by the Atlanta Hawks to the Denver Nuggets this week and subsequently waived.

Like the Nuggets, the 76ers had yet to reach the salary floor.

By claiming Williams, the 76ers have eliminated the Nuggets' $1.1 million salary floor related savings and have taken it for themselves.

thats hilarious. i love what the nuggets are building but the gm has to get in trouble for this right? it means they just gave atlanta something for.... literally nothing.

The Hawks gave Denver Mo and some cash for the rights to Cenk Akyol (the 59th pick in 2005). Denver still has the cash!
