Dion Waiters: You Shouldn't Be In NBA If You Don't Have Confidence

Dion Waiters had 24 points in a 108-101 win by the Miami Heat over the Charlotte Hornets.

Waiters is averaging 18.7 points per game in Miami's wins.

You are going to make shots, you are going to miss shots. It's about how you handle it. Don't get too high, don't get too low. That's one thing I learned, always stay in between."

I'll have to write that down. If Waiters can use the need for 'confidence' to justify consistently making poor decisions and not getting the basic idea of what a good/bad possession is, I can probably put it to some creative uses. At least in the places in life where other adults won't call you on BS and flatter your delusions.

I really don't get all the chatter about this guy. Just about every player has good stretches with in a season. Maybe he's on one but so what. The guy is doing no better overall. He's putting up almost identical stats to his first two seasons in the league. There has been little to no improvement which is a bigger redflag IMO and I see people saying Max on several of these threads. Who are these people and why does this guy even have a thread on the front page of Real GM.

In my view he really is limited mentally. That and also defensively. As a focal point of an offense he's being asked to do more than he's capable of of you're aiming high and we could all witness in last year's playoffs what an atrocious role player he is.

I simply wouldn't want him on my team.
