Lakers Still Confident Paul George Will Sign In 2018

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jul 1, 2017 11:02 pm

According to a report from Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report, Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have already conveyed to Paul George "behind the scenes how he can be the first to experience what they will do" running the Los Angeles Lakers. Ding adds that "George wants in."

George was traded by the Indiana Pacers to the Oklahoma City Thunder just before the start of free agency.

The Lakers attempted to trade for George but were unwilling to part with Lonzo Ball or Brandon Ingram in their offers to the Pacers.

While George is still expected to sign with the Lakers, sources say it is more likely than not that Russell Westbrook stays with the Thunder long-term.

Ya think? PG and Russ FA's at the same time and the Lakers magically have enough scalp space to sign both. Not a coincidence

Thanks for the honesty.
