Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Aug 16, 2017 9:14 pm

Three sources close to LeBron James denied a report from Chris Sheridan indicating he has already made up his mind about leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018.

James can become a free agent in 2018 but he remains undecided on his future.

Ticket sales plummeting...folks not going to renew after this season?

No way Lebron is staying in cleveland for the end of his career. He doesnt want to be there. They got their title...saved his legavy a bit.

Time to hit the beach. Sorry Cleveland, Lake Erie doesn't count.

He should come play with his good friend Chris Paul.

LeBron has not decided to let you know he has decided to leave, like everybody knows with his non-commitment to Cavs.

Lebron earns 33 million this season and will get even more next season, in free agency what team could he sign with and be a title contender? LA LOL, 76ers? Not many options for Lebron. He should waive his no trade clause for Minnesota in a deal for A.Wiggins.
Teague-Butler-Lebron-Towns would give him the best chance to beat the warriors, don't see it happening though.

Cavs should eat their pride and trade Irving to the Celtics, the best package is the best package.
July 4 2016, Kevin Durant declared his dependence day, dependent on the guys he couldn't beat!

So u think lebron makes more money playing nba than being a business man really?. U think the $33 a year he made the past 2 season is close to all the endorsement deals he has outside lol. LeBron could make $50 a year in cleveland and the Lakers can offer him $10 a year and he will still make more money playing in Los Angeles. Stop talking about what team pays the most when we talk about superstars. The make their most money in endorsements not in their contract

Trade him now, get obscene value for him.

He’s in the twilight of his career and is no longer the best player in the NBA. There is only one way to go and that’s a slow decent down for Bron. I don’t think he’s winning any more championships as the guy, if he wants more he’s gonna have to ride them coattails somewhere else, because right now as it sits GS isn’t going to be beaten by any team currently constructed in the league. Young guys in the East such as Boston’s core, Washington (if Beal can stay healthy), and Milwaukee will be battling it out for years to come. Put a fork in LeBron in Cleveland... do the right thing, trade him and rebuild, don’t let Bron blindside ya like last time.

Beaches are not priority for Bron, but I dont think basketball is number one to Bron anymore either.

Bron wants to be a Billionaire, NBA Owner, and a Mogul. Bron wants to be a SJW. Those two things are more important to basketball it seems to me to Bron. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just where he is in his life it seems. He’s still a great player, just no longer the best, and is on a team that is no longer a lock to win the East and will be a huge underdog in the Finals if they happen to get there again.

I 100% believe he's leaving the cavs but why does everyone think he's going to the lakers or heck maybe even rockets. I can't see him playing for a third team - I feel like he and wade are both going back to Miami next summer - the fans in South Beach were upset he left with short notice despite promising not 7 so let's say a 6 title promise where he delivered only 2. He promised cavs one title when he came back and delivered. Now he has to at least try to honor the Miami promise before he retires. Aside from that, Miami has LA weather with much lower taxes and is in the Eastern Conference which is almost a guaranteed finals ticket for Lebron.

If he goes to lakers and doesn't deliver a ring it probably hurts his legacy more than it strengthens it. At least if he ends his career in Miami he will have two legendary jersey retirements in Cleveland and Miami for delivering rings. Also he can mend fences with the likes of Riley & Arison who did not attack him personally unlike Dan Gilbert when he departed.

They need to sign him to a Mario Lemieux type contract and offer a ton of retirement shares in the team.

This article contradicts itself. There is no NBA source that can speak on his behalf? So how can a source close to Lebron not be an NBA source? If they are close to Lebron, they have ties to the NBA. Unless Lebron's friends are the ones speaking about him behind his back, in which case, they aren't his friends for doing so.

Lebron is now well into his plan to destroy his hometown franchise. Keep it up douche, this will not be overlooked when it comes to his legacy. Few have been more pathetic than Lebron, he's literally a human pogo stick that can't be honest and up front to people that pay him millions of dollars and the fans that buy tickets to see him. Way to spit in their faces.

He has a no trade clause. He would have to agree to a deal, but since he refuses to even tell anyone what his intentions are, it is safe to say he will leave them high and dry... again. He is pathetic.

Why is that pathetic? Why don't we demand from every player in the league that we must know what their decision is for a decision they have to make a year from now. fck it.. make it two years.. shyt why not three.. Come on guys.. at some point, you have to realize you're asking for too much. :banghead:
