The Milwaukee Brewers have reportedly discussed a potential return with reliever Francisco Rodriguez.
Mark Attanasio, the club's owner, said earlier this week that he would be "very surprised" if another signing wasn't made before Spring Training.
The Brewers had been linked to Jonathan Papelbon in trade talks.
