It was their priority at the end of the season, and they accomplished it. Would you look at that BC? Someone actually did what they said they wanted to do - Masai makes BC look like a complete amateur! Realistic expectations with solid moves so far from the Raps mgmt

It's so true. Masai really does make BC look like an incompetent moron. look at everything Masai has accomplished in his short time if being GM. FANTASTIC start Masai :D

After seeing how much Avery Bradly(8m/yr) and Shaun Livingston(5.33/yr) signed for, it's not surprising to see the Kyle Lowry signed for (12m/yr).

But seeing that both Miami and Houston required S&T for Lowry's services, while the Lakers were waiting on Carmelo's decision first - it seems as the Raptors only overpaid slightly.

But he's a great fit for the Raptors, and all in all, the Raptors made the right decision.

This is 100% the best solution for them, unless there was a sign-and-trade available. If Lowry signed with another team, they would have been in trouble and the roster would have been down graded enormously. Easy "A".

When a player doesn't sign an extension and we don't trade him before the trade deadline, I expect to lose him in free-agency. Great job Masai!

Absolutely an "A" and "A plus" if it was offered.
Lowry is want makes the Raps go, he has great team chemistry - finally found that after Memphis and Houston.
Did we pay a little more than we orginally thought? Sure - but he is worth the extra. Who else would we have gotten for that money that's in the same tier as Lowry? He's an All-Star in my mind. And he and DeMar assembled the best back court in the league aside from perhaps Curry and Thompson.
Masai is the man! Honestly, if they can bring back Vasquez and 2Pat and unload Fields I think they are good to go for this season. Another year with the core group will do wonders for the team. Then next year clear some cap and go for Durant - is that unrealistic? I really don't think so - Masai and Tim are in it to win it - so why not??
Very excited about the Raps since Tim and Masai have come aboard!!

They had to keep him. There are no if and or buts about it. Pretty cheap deal too for one of the best all around PGs in the NBA.

Great for the team, slightly overpaid
