Really looking forward to the Toronto / Union game

Good test for our defense and I want to see Derrick Jones going against the TFC attack

I'm looking forward to TFC's first win of the season. :)

Giovinco will want to score after having his penalty kick saved this past weekend. I think he'll be extremely focused.

Yeah I watched it, both teams looked pretty awful, mostly due to the wind.

The Union looked better in the first half, while TFC in the 2nd as both teams got a chance to play with the wind.

Terrible goal keeping for both sides, and both teams losing their best goal scorers really hurt.

Those south american offensive players for Atlanta do look pretty good.
Even when playing at Snowball 2017 in Minnesota.

Lalas is such a bad commentator. Glad to see Van Damme get sent off. Never heard of him and he's out there acting like he's a legend.

That Atlanta team has got some serious fire power up front.

Almiron with yet another great pass for that second goal.

It's early days, but Atlanta looks to be the team to beat in the East.

That offense is clicking on all cylinders.

Yeah, it's quite early in the season and there are some other teams in the East as well.
I'm also not sure how good teams like Minnesota(new franchise) and Chicago(last place last season, if I remember correctly) actually are.
Though, that Atlanta team looks really good and going for South American talents(especially with leagues like Argentina having financial trouble) is a good way to go for the MLS.
You mix that with a couple of bigger names(for the overall attention) and you can really keep on growing the game in North America.

I've got a question. Why would the MLS reject Pro/Rel. If their is any system more than ready i would have thought it would be the states. Sure owners are greedy and don't want to go down, but my answer to that would be to, well, get good.

Their are so many cities with a team that i'm sure crowds wouldn't go down surely.

They didn't reject pro/rel, they rejected the TV deal as they aren't even allowed to negotiate for TV rights for a few more years.

Though they would reject the concept of pro-rel too, as owners have paid way too much in expansion fees over the last 10 years to get into the league. MLS would be sued by every owner in the league.

to be honest if any team could easily implement pro/rel. it would be the MLS (just make the NASL the 2nd div and USL the 3rd div, then have west and east conferences, then bottom team gets relegated out of each conference and top team gets promoted).

Also owners can whine and moan but under what circumstance could they sue. 'We're going to sue because we deservedly got relegated because we were rubbish'. I mean i have this problem with the a-league also. What punishment is their for being that bad. For the MLS its worse, you get a top pick for it.
