I'm so glad to see my city mentioned here and that we're getting people's attention. We must be doing something right :D We just won the final 2-0, but we want more!

It's a pity that MLS is so set on staying in L.A.

Pity indeed. Their obsession really blows my mind.

With the news of Chivas hiatus being a certainty, the western conference will probably look like this next year

Seattle Sounders
LA Galaxy
Real Salt Lake
FC Dallas
Vancouver Whitecaps
Portland Timbers
San Jose Earthquakes
Colorado Rapids
Houston Dynamo
Sporting Kansas City

That will really juice up the conference playoffs next year.

I love Robert Earnshaw, he just did Toronto FC a huge favour.

Pretty much Rich Balchan gave em the goal. Overall the team played poorly, no creativity in the final third. We're lucky Chivas USA arent in the Playoffs.

Next week will be brutal without Saborio, Plata, Gil, and Morales.

New Crew logo is such a huge improvement, but still pretty terrible.

I'm really not a fan of MLS teams picking up European-style names. It's the same with european teams in Hockey or Basketball "americanizing" their names, just sounds wrong to me.

Thats why I like Columbus going with SC instead of FC. We play soccer here dammit

I wasn't a fan of the Real Salt Lake name at first, for obvious reasons of course. After thinking about it, for a state that has had its only pro team named the Jazz without having any ties to the music style, Real Salt Lake seemed proper. People say we need to rebrand, but I think we're past that point here, too much history tied to the name in its short, ten year life.

Anyone catch Don Garber's presser earlier today? Really went hard at Jurgen for his Michael Bradley/MLS comments.

Glad the Timbers at least got the draw with RSL last night, but I feel that we'll just miss out on that last playoff spot. I expect Vancouver to easily beat SJ and we finish up with a tough away game in Dallas... Not sure we can match them on points, even if they lose to Colorado in the last game.

Looks like it will go that way.

Passing Vancouver will be very tough to do.

that tie really screwed both teams last night. RSL now in fourth place and would have to play the play-in game. Guess we cant complain with what Portland is dealing with. That was a very fun match last night. Rimando is absolutely insane

We need to beat Dallas to have a chance because we own the tiebreaker over the Whitecaps. If we beat Dallas, then they need a win AND a tie in the final 2 games. The Will Johnson injury really hurt us, cuz Zemanski sucks.

100% agree! I don't like the fc stuff if we are not going to call it football in this country. You can't be major league SOCCER and have a bunch of FOOTBALL clubs. And I'm a Red Bulls fan and I'm getting a jump on my hated of NYCFC.
