The boys have got to find a way to score. They cannot continue dominating these games, but walking away with a tie or even a loss as we saw yesterday. Goalies are coming up big against them. We need our goalie to come up big, as well.

No kidding. The Valeri and Johnson injuries really hurt. Neither Chara or Fochive can go forward like Johnson, and Valeri is well...an elite MLS player. I was hoping Nagbe would step up and that Fernandez would be utilized more in Valeri's role.

What will the starting lineup be once Valerie and Johnson return... I'm kinda liking Asprilla. Does he replace Wallace in the starting lineup at some point or does Porter keep him coming off the bench? The Timbers really need to find more ways to put the ball in the net. All of these ties the past few years does not help them. it doesn't hurt too much, but it doesn't help even more.

I'd say Johnson steps in for Jewsbury/Fochive next to Chara. I think Valeri goes into the middle, with Nagbe out on the right and Wallace on the left. Asprilla, Fernandez, and Urruti off the bench.

Thoughts on the new goalie? I like his laid back style, but I sure miss Ricketts getting the fast break stated with either a long throw or a quick lne drive kick. So far, I'm not overly impressed with the new guy.

Not spectacular but still pretty solid. As much as I liked Ricketts, he's getting very old and I think it was the right time to move on.
