Re: Orlando City SC Discussion Thread
He does want to play in MLS and he's 34 so it's gonna have to be soon that he comes over. He seems to have eyes on a larger city though.
Flavio has his eyes on Ronaldo as well which is crazy to even think about.
O city swinging for the fences. We will over the coming years sign some big time players.

Red Bulls beat Montreal on Wednesday.
Montreal now travels to Colorado Saturday. If the Impact lose (I could even live with a draw), OCSC is more than alive in the hunt.

Re: Orlando City SC Discussion Thread
Yeah, Drogba did it again.
So Friday is absolutely a must-win for us against NYCFC on Friday. Even if we tie, we're done.
It's a monumental task because we don't have Kaka and Brek. I think we've only played 3 games without at least one of them starting, and we've been blown out in all three games.
I want to see over 40,000 fans there. No college, no Magic to get in the way.

that looked like a goal to me. Hopefully OC can hold them off, because that was really frustrating.

Orlando City comes back from down 1-0 to win 2-1. Great game to be at, was so loud! Was in 143.

Was part of the 43k rocking the bowl. Tremendous win, these guys really wanted it bad. Atmosphere was electric. Should've been 3-1. Orlando showed up and helped this team win.

Re: Orlando City SC Discussion Thread
**** YEAH!
What a comeback despite all of the awful officiating calls (missed handballs, missed takedowns in the box).
Neal was **** again, but thankfully Rivas, Larin, and Winter were wonderful in the second half when they had to be.
Hope Tally is okay, but that looks scary and I'm fearing another knee surgery. Josh Ford looked pretty uneasy, but he was subbed in at a very tense part of the match.
The opportunity that could have been 3-1 looked to me like the ball was just barely on the line. Now, had the NYCFC player not been sitting on the ball, the entire ball would have been in the goal. But it wasn't, the ball was expanded and it was barely on the line.
Soccer karma prevailed in the end. That crowd deserved it, and props to the players for sticking around on the field afterwards.
Now we wait to see what happens with the New England-Montreal match today. If Montreal wins, we're basically out. If they lose or draw, the final MLS day next Sunday is going to be crazy. I would also keep an eye on the Toronto-Columbus game too. Depending on that result, we could have some funky goal differential scenarios pop up as well aside from what we're watching with Montreal.

Heath's presser after the match. Lots of emotion in those comments:

We also broke the attendance season record for an expansion side:

I disagree, they showed a replay on the scoreboard, zoomed in and 2/3 of the ball was over the line.

Re: Orlando City SC Discussion Thread
I was there with the wife near the supporters section. Raucous crowd and fantastic atmosphere. Larin did what was necessary. He left several goals on the pitch as usual but got it done. Collin great marking on Villa. Hope Tally Hall didn't blow out his ACL again. The boys played well and I was very skeptical without Shea. Rivas had classy crosses and was almost my man of the match. Heath is a fantastic coach. Great night great win and the wife got a photo with Mikael Pietrius who we saw on our way out the stadium.
Glad you first timers saw what real atmosphere looks like. OCSC wipes the floor with the magic in pretty much every area as many of us have been saying for months....
