You might be surprised (or really not) at how little that matters to a lot of old men

Like, just ask women how many guys have said similarly creepy stuff to them when they were teenagers, or even younger

I used to work in a grocery store, and it wasn't super frequent but you'd still get older men making creepy comments about the girls that worked there, some of whom were underage at the time, and there's just nothing they can do except grin and bear it, which just emboldens them more because they think that makes it okay rather than it's just their job to be nice

It's just part of the objectification that comes with seeing the primary role of women being to produce children, just look at the online dating thread on the Knicks board where dudes are talking about how women who've had sex with someone else are "damaged goods" and sh*t.

I found years ago that women the age of your children look like children. but I didn't hear this comment the way many of you did. I thought he just meant he loved her play. I think it was Gregg Doyle but I'd have to listen again to be sure. I don't often agree with Gregg's posts, but I'm willing to cut him some slack here.

Nah, it was creepy AF.

I chimed in on that discussion. Hopefully my perspective reached that person.

And yeah man. I've seen first hand older dudes creeping on younger women in the workplace. It's so f*cked. That's why I try to say something to younger guys if they're willing to listen. I don't know what else to do otherwise to help outside of ensuring that the women under my care are safe and protected at all times.

It was borderline, if not full blown sexual harassment. I don't think we need to beat around the bush.

I hope that dude does not have daughters. Because if he does, that makes this even more disgusting.

Again...I couldn't be Caitlin's dad. I would have gotten in trouble.

Tonight's game airs on ESPN2 and Disney Plus.

Good luck to the Fever, their first match up will be against the Sun. It gets real tonight!!!

Honestly enjoying this game more than the NYK and Pacers game...Clark has been OK at best but she doesn't look "comfortable" yet

The step up in weight class is obvious.

What’s up with Boston? Looks extremely ordinary. Over rated?

Is Mitchell on minutes restriction, or what’s the deal? Leading minutes, scorer, 3p shooter from last year and the Fevers offense looks putrid. Looked pretty good to me in short stint I saw. Seems like they could use her out there.

Not the prettiest debut game for Clark or the Fever, and Boston certainly looked still in preseason mode.

The Sun aren't an easy matchup for a young team to make their mark against.

The Fever really need to play Grace Berger and Lexi Hull more at the expense of Erica Wheeler and Kristy Wallace.

Nah, absolutely not. She has elite footwork and touch. She's very good and has a high ceiling for growth.

I wouldn't let that game be an indication of anything really. The Sun are a veteran team with tough defenders. They're no joke. The Fever are a bunch of kids. It's gonna happen quite a bit this season lol

Watch on YouTube

This is what it's all about. Learning and developing.

People that don't watch the league who thought that CC was going to dominate everyone from day 1 are probably confused right now. I expect some wild hot takes today.

Maybe they'll have better luck against my Liberty

As a WNBA fan who barely follows college basketball, part of me is probably hoping for a few "welcome to the big leagues" moments for CC. I'm not rooting against her at all and I hope she becomes a generational player! I just found it annoying how so many people who couldn't name 3 current WNBA players were talking about how CC is going to dominate from day 1. People who have no idea who Alyssa Thomas is expected Clark to be the best player in this game.

CC will be more than fine, and the Fever just looked still in preseason form. Aliyah Boston was even worse.

Huge game from DiJonai Carrington! Looked great as a starter and took advantage of the spotlight.

It's early, but Boston does not look great.

Like potentially a downright bad fit with Clark at present. Some of it is natural adjustment to playing with someone new, but some of it isn't. Seems like a lazy screener plus some iffy post defense at times.

Yeah I'm not gonna bash people who are new to the league, but people need to realize that the WNBA is not NCAA hoops. These are grown women who do not play around

I would have bet my entire 401k on Connecticut smacking the Fever. They've got straight up dogs on that roster.

Again...they Fever are a bunch of kids. The Sun are legit hardcore battle tested veterans. Alyssa Thomas is one of the best two way players in the WORLD. I hope people don't lose their minds because there are way more welcome to the W moments to come for CC. And that's okay! She's learning.

I disagree. I think Clark and Boston will develop into an amazing duo. They're both young and learning.

Also, it was one game against elite competition. Boston was an All Star last season, 14ppg 8rpg 1.3blks 1.2stl per. If last night was your first time watching her, trust me, she will be fine.

That being said, she got her ass kicked last night along with her teammates. I was not surprised at all
