poland wins 84-83. turkey played like **** letting a scrub like berisha get hot from 3pt range. still .. what happened at the end of the 3rd quarter was ridiculous. the refs gifted 5pts to poland with two stupid calls. turkey's chances of reaching the next group stage are dim.

I haven't seen this kind of officiating since 2006 NBA finals. Such a shame that one of the best teams in the tourney is on the brink of elimination. He calls 2 bogus flagrant fouls, then doesn't call the obvious foul on Ilyasova. He gave 8 points to Poland, he should be on the boxscore.

Group A is nuts. There's a way Turkey or Spain get knocked out and Poland qualifies.

Glad Greece pounded Montenegro. We can definitely take Group C now.

Turkey should beat Poland even if all referees are blind. There is no excuse for that lose

The refs in this game were terrible. They screwed both teams equally though.

I haven't seen 3-point attempt foul you are talking about, but I actually thought that the refs were trying to screw over Poland - on the last possesion where Turkey got the lead Kanter lost the ball out of bounds but they called a phantom foul and when Kanter missed second free throw, they called a lane violation and let him shoot again.

I have never seen a potential 8 point possession before...so I'm going to have to go ahead and say that Turkey got the short end of that stick. Although I do agree that the refs were really bad all around.

3rd Q refereeing was in Poland's favor, end of 4th was in Turkey's. Either way, I'm Polish, and quite surprised and happy they're in the run for 2nd round. Turkey hasn't shown they're elite, beyond squashing an premature GB team.. meanwhile Poland has played like a good team besides the Lithuania game. I hope Poland beats GB.

Yeah, that end of the 3rd quarter was so weird:

Of course Savas was the beginning of that.

what you cant see in this video is the two technical foul free throws .. poland shot them at the beginning of the 4th.
turkey was trailing the whole game up to that point and finally managed to get a grip of themselves - leading by 7. but then this happened. no excuse for losing nonetheless, but still those were some **** up calls. how is that a flarant foul and where was the foul on the forced 3pt shot from the polish center? i'd get pissed too if i were the turkish coach, so yeah .. here's a technical foul to crown all that bull. both times it was the same ref ...

Turkey didn't play well but the bs at the end of 3rd quarter changed the dynamics of the game, i don't see how Poland would have came back without that sequence. good thing game is not going to matter.

Whatever, Turkiey beat Spain by 8 today after ending the game on a 16-0 run (Spain outscored 2-16 in the 4th quarter (!!)). Spain, Lit and Turkey beat each other so they all enter the 2nd round with a 1-1 record.

My boys beat Croatia.

France-Serbia was the best 1st half I've seen all tourney.
