Frontcourt looks great backcourt not really good but ok.

What's Preldzic doing there, he can't play for Turkey.

Biyombo plays for Spain.

I know OKC could use another 7footer to back up Perkins because Mullens and Aldrich simply don't look like the answer.

I'm glad Harris isn't playing for Germany. His game vanished last season for Gonzaga due to being dinged up. He needs to get healthy this year.

Pleiss isn't better than Aldrich. Maybe a bit better than Mullens but he'll suck in the nba, too.

No he doesn't. And Preldzic already played for another country so he can't play for Turkey anymore.

Fiba will decide about Preldzic within 1 week. Preldzic wants to play for turkish national team. He is playing in Turkey since 5 years and will play 3 more years. If Fiba gives OK, Turkey will be really really tough team to beat. He is 2.06, can play PG,SG,SF, PF, can shoot and pass like a top PG and is in tremendous form lately.

Erden will be out due to injury. Asik will be ready I guess. Also Okur will be out cause he doesnt want to risk an injury again. He hasn'nt played anay Bball since one year now. I expect this roster:

PG: Tunceri/Arslan/Acik
SG: Onan/Güler
SF: Hedo/ (Preldzic)
PF: Ilyasova/Gönlüm
C: Asik/Kanter/Savas

This would be hell of a team. Maybe we will lack defensive qualitys of Erden but Kanter will be a great addition for offense. Imagine this lineup, which is possible:

PG: Preldzic (2.06)
SG: Hedo (2.08)
SF: Ilyasova(2.08)
PF: Kanter (2.11)
C: Asik (2.14)

FIBA will decline Preldzic's request to play for Turkey, like it declined his previous requests to play for Bosnia. If they let him play for Turkey, it would set a precedent that would cause a whole lot of legal problems for them and all hell would break loose.

Don't even want to think about what Greece's roster is looking like right now. Spanoulis and Diamantidis are not playing. Papaloukas may come out of NT retirement, but unlikely. Bourousis kicked out due to doping.

May see Calathes and Koufos actually start.

Koufos will be good addition for Greece. Better than Boroussis.

I thought the FIBA already declared Preldzic eligible to play for Turkey?

A moronic move by Slovenian basketball federation to let him play for Turkey. They've opened the floodgates for trading with citizenships like in handball. Idiots.

Kanter told to a reporter that he would play if there is a lockout. I feel like he should play either way since most European NBA starts are going to be playing, it will be a good warm-up for him too.

I don't think he would start over Asik tho - due to his lack of experience.

On the side note, I am anxious too see him play in a high competitive level game vs. Serbia or Spain.

Sertac Sanli, Semih Erden (injury), Dogus Balbay and Izzet Turkyilmaz will be cut so barring injuries the roster will be:

Kerem Tunceri
Ender Arslan
Baris Ermis

Ömer Onan
Sinan Güler

Hedo Türkoglu
Emir Preldzic

Ersan Ilyasova
Kerem Gönlüm

Ömer Asik
Enes Kanter
Oguz Savas

+

Furkan Aldemir
Cenk Akyol

Only possible change I see is cutting Baris Ermis and replacing him with Furkan Aldemir given that Emir and Sinan (and possibly Hedo) can see emergency time at the PG spot if need be.

Bosnian basketball federation claims Preldzic agreed to play for them and now that FIBA Europe and Slovenian basketball federation gave their approval for him to switch teams, all they have to resolve is administrative issues.

Emir Preldzic was officially anounced by TBF president. A journalist asked about the bosnia rumours. Demirel said that a journalist in Bosnia tried to achieve something but TBF got permission for Emir from Fiba on 10th of June. They also agreed with slovenian federation.
