Mar Del Plata Preolympic Games

Post#1 » by planaria » Tue Aug 30, 2011 11:37 am

I cant believe that there isnt a topic for this exciting tournament, yet.

It's start today.

Here a nice interview (google translated + entire video in english) by Coach Cal, who is coaching the Dominican Republican NT.

He made some interesting points between NBA and FIBA games.
I love players like Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony and Tracy McGrady. Why? Just because I love basketball. Even if you don't have one in your team, you should love them, too. ;)

This tourney doesn't hold a candle to EuroBasket.

Arena is completely empty and dead for the first game.

Brazil is playing plenty of prospects, such as Rafael Luz, Augusto Lima, Rafael Hettshemeier and Vitor Benite, but the overall result is shaky at best.

Yes, but the argentine crowd is crazy in the high profile games. And to be honest, only Spain could have a chance with this argentine roster in Europe.

Brazil 73 - 71 Argentina, one of the best games I´ve ever seen!

I've been watching some on ESPN3. Some good teams.
