I just love watching Finland play. They play with so much energy. They have my full support and I was rooting for them all game long :D

Obviously you didn't watch the preparation games. He's going to be a beast this year, he's so confident after he got drafted in the1st round by Golden State, his game will be on another level there, trust me.
Lithuanians will be tough for sure, wanna see what Valanciunas will do against Krstic, gonna be a great game for sure.

Well I'll see him soon. Games are being broadcasted on ESPN3 btw. Free for me, not sure if because of internet provider.

Def a lot of young talent in this tournament. That said I've noticed that the old less athletic players tend to do well in these.

Teletovic and Turkoglu sucked major balls today, though.

I suggest you put Germany as a seperate option on the poll!
Just upset the Frenchies with a new coach and totally unexperienced roster! WATCH OUT! :D 8-)

No matter how weak their roster is, Germans always upset at least one team.

Krstic beat all of the centers of Lithuania, especially Valanciunas. It was fun to watch

A really good day of basketball today.

Some upsets, biggest of them all Finland over Turkey, Germany over France and Italy over Russia. Also some tight finishes and last second game winners.

Overall a nice way to start off the tourney.

Valanciunas got taken to school by Kristic.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

That wasn't a big surprise. Russia is missing some very important players (Kirilenko, Khryapa, Mozgov, Kaun) and they are not considered a favorite anymore. No one blinked an eye when they lost to Italy who is stronger this year without Bargnani.
