Best FIBA Teams All-Time

Post#1 » by cloudXXI » Sun Aug 24, 2008 4:06 pm

Apart from USA, what are the best teams you´ve ever seen?

My choices:

1-Yugoslavia 1990-1991. Djorjevic, Danilovic, Divac, Paspalj,Kukoc, Radja, Petrovic (only 1990)...
2-Spain 2006-2008. Gasol, Navarro, Rudy, Garbajosa, Calderon,...
2-Argentina (tie) 2002-2004. Ginobili, Scola, Oberto, Delfino, Pepe Sanchez, Nocioni,...
4- USSR 1988. Sabonis, Kurtinaitis, Volkov, Marchulonis,...
5- Lithuania 1992-1995. Sabonis, Marchulonis, Kurtinaitis,...
6-Greece 1989. Gallis, Yannakis, Fasoulas,...

Sorry if i have made any mistakes, I have written by memory.

In the top10 must be Brazil 1987: Oscar Schimidt, Marcel, Pipoka...

I agree that the 1990 Yugoslavia was the best national team ever (outside of the US ones of course). Too bad the country split up.
