I just don't see a ton there for you guys.

What about 12/Tobias Harris/Future 1st? Any interest in Larry Sanders?

We'd essentially have to rob your roster and it wouldn't be worth it to the Bucks in the long run

I'd be down for some robbery. We need to move out of the 9th seed hell somehow. Anything other than our current road is better for the Bucks in the long run.

Some trades we've brought up on our board...

Jennings/Moute/#12/Future 1st protected for #2

Ellis/Moute/#12/ for #2 and Tyrus Thomas

3-way here..
Bobcats get: Gay and Bucks 2013 1st
Bucks get: #2 and Thomas
Grizzles get: Ellis and Luc

Most of us would give you about anything/everything from our roster to get the chance to shoot for Drummond's ceiling.

yeah but what's the point of getting out of the mid lotto hell if you don't get your own picks?

Hence the protection on the picks.

But then why would we want it? You have to give up value to get value. You need to decide, are you rebuilding or going for the playoffs? Going for #2 in this draft does neither for the Bucks.

Because you can have our whole roster? lol.

We want to rebuild. Our front office wants the 8th seed. We're hoping they can luck into a terribly good or bad move, but either way we need to gut our roster. Drummond is raw it's not like he's going to be putting up 20/14 as a rookie.

In this scenario we would obviously be tanking as we'd be giving up most of our players that equal wins in order to move up for a brighter future.

Maybe you're FO doesn't think a star is available at #2 and would take 5 quality players over 1 :dontknow:

I can dream. :D

Yeah but 5 quality players... a protected pick... sounds like trading places.

I'm not disagreeing.

If you guys are dead set on trading #2, It would depend what kind of potential you see in Brandon Jennings, Tobias Harris, Larry Sanders and possible mid lotto picks the next year or so in comparison to what other teams are offering.

I just can't see it happening. We'd be better off keeping it or trading it to other teams that aren't the bucks right now. Sorry.

But i'd take Royce White with your #12 pick.

No problem. It's unrealistic but I can pray.

I like Royce, but feel we could trade down and grab him in the 20's.

Apparently we really want a Center, since thats the new position of need (trading Bogut for a scrub combo guard will do that eh?) and a tall SG, since Monta can't defend ****.

I don't think Royce makes it to 20. I hope he somehow makes it to 31, obviously, but it doesn't seem plausible

I think Royce's stock is going skyrocket pretty soon. If he gets selected in the lottery over someone like Sullinger, I will not be surprised. Royce actually fits well on your roster too.

We should try shopping Kemba + 31 for a mid 1st round pick. Philly might bite they'll need a replacement for Lou Williams. I think Kemba can be that guy. They have the 15th pick. We could pick White, Moultrie, Harkless... seriously I would be happy if we could just keep Biz and Hendo and then trade everyone for like five mid-1st round picks, suck next year get a top pick and then have an amazing core for the future. I have my eyes set on nabbing a 10-20 pick. My favorite players from this draft are Drummond and MKG and then like eight other people in the 8-20 range.
