I don't know how quick he'll adjust to the next level, and there may be some bad days at the office, but you'll love the kid's heart. People know him this year for his game-winning shots (and the title), but he also fights big men for rebounds, dives after loose balls, and he's fearless. He's got a little bit of New York brashness to him, but he's not obnoxious. He's just a competitor. He'll leave it all out there, to use a cliche.

I've been praying all week that he would fall to us. Other than Kyrie, I think this guy has a chance to be a special player. Good character, extremely hard working and very smart, perfect MJ type player. And now we can dump DJ! Yay! Sorry but I could not go through another season with DJ as our starting point guard with nobody here to challenge him.

This little man can ball. Hopefully he turns out a wee bit more talented than Felton.

A great player to draft!

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Loved him in college. I was the only one amongst my friends that had UCONN winning it all in our Yahoo Bracket Challenge. I chose them because of what Kemba did in the Big East tourney. This kid is a winner. I knew Jordan wanted him and he got him.

My knock with him is the size and shooting ability. He has no control over height but he has been working on his jumper right after he got done with the NCAA tourney.

Hey Magic fan here. just wanted to say i agree with you. i think Kemba has a chance to be the best PG in the league... maybe the best player period. i'm a big Kemba fan and i'm gonna follow you guys a little more now.

I wasn't a fan before the draft, but looking at all the highlights reels I was thinking to myself, he can't be worse than a guy like JJ Barea.

Great acquisition for you guys. After the Jazz passed on Knight it looked like one of the two would fall your way. Good job selected Biyombo with #7 which guaranteed you'd get one of them at #9 and still get your desired big man.

Not gonna be pretty next year in Charlotte with the other moves that have happened, but Kemba should be great.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Great to see a proven winner come in. Hopefully he'll bring that attitude in the locker room and on the court. I like his leadership.

It feels awesome to know that we have two players that can develop into really great players.

A winner. I like him. I like DJ, but DJ has not done so well when challenged by Ray and even by Flip when he was here. Kemba will work hard to become a leader on and off the floor. Honestly, I think Kemba will strive to take over as the starting PG, and I dont know if DJ will have the confidence in himself to withstand the assault on his starting job. I could have lived with DJ starting, but I think that it wont be more than 1 season before Kemba is ready to take the reins.

I think Bonnell hits it right on about the dynamic with DJ and Kemba.
