Hendo is going to thrive this season. Less minutes, less expectations, and he will run wild against teams' benches. He always plays better when his starting job is in jeopardy or in a contract year (remember 2012-13 when Taylor was playing well and Hendo was in a contract year?). This will be a contract year if he plays well enough for us, which I think he will. He's going to be a sixth man of the year contender. I know that's bold, but I've typically been a believer of his.

That said, if we can manage to upgrade to Jeff Green or Afflalo we've got to do it.

Hendo is a very good sixth man. I think that the fact that Stephenson will be starter this season only will motivate Hendo and give him hunger to bomb the baskets of the NBA teams. I've always liked Hendo and after the Hornets acquired Stephenson I like him more. Go Charlotte! Go Hendo!

I know that it isn't the fault of the two reporters who have been doing these interview series and moreso is what's wrong with 21. century journalism as a whole, but I just can't stand the amount of "Talk about X" questions they ask. How the hell do you expect to hear anything informative when you're suggesting what the answer should be by asking the player to "talk about the name change and the positive influence it has had on the city"!?

i hate 99% of sports interviews i hear/read. either the interviewer has an angle and is trying to stir up controversy or they ask the most basic generic questions that invite cliche answers.

how about questions like:

1. who is the toughest player in the league to guard?
2. which player talks the most trash?
3. which teammate will surprise people the most this year?
4. which player is the toughest to score against?

The silver lining in this is that MKG will almost undoubtedly wrap up the starting SF spot which I believe is for the betterment of the team for the now & into the future, but I'd never wish injury on anyone. This injury could hurt the depth of the bench & their chemistry though. I look forward to seeing what P.J. Hairston can do in his extended minutes though
