No, let just Cho keep his GM job and get rid of those whatever of basketball operations nonsenses. Let Cho coach (do substitutions) this team when we are at it :-)

this should have been done a long time ago. however, it's most likely never going to happen as long as MJ owns the team.

good lord, so Higgins will stick with this franchise forever.

Who was that guy, that the Observer had that article about that basically handled all of MJ's finances and was one of the few people that MJ listened to? We need to send him a petition to fire Higgins.

Yes, unfortunately MJ is tight with Higgins and in his world he will place loyalty over reason or prudent business decisions. Higgins is awful, and this nepotism experiment is beyond bad. But I seriously doubt Jordan would ever fire Higgy. He is a horrible basketball "executive". I'm sure he has a fine office to go with his tailored suits...

I just wonder what the guy actually does.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I am a bit sad that we didn't capitalize on one thing Higgins brings to the table - ties with Warriors - and haven't inquired about Lin and at least try to get him in Charlotte to try. Even if he turns out to be a one week wonder.

Then again maybe we did, but I doubt it.

^
1. The only roster spot for Lin would have been Cory's, that's why it didn't happen.

2. Lin wouldn't be doing in Charlotte what he's doing for NY because Silas would have him running the UCLA high post offense.

3. Higgins must go.

Yes, that's what I meant.

You'd have a better chance at winning the lottery without buying a ticket than MJ firing Higgins!

Does this guy have the sweetest job in sports? I say yes. He can make all the horrible moves he wants and never gets fired or blamed by the media. On the rare occasion that a move pans out he does interviews with rick taking credit. MJ takes all the heat from the national media and some fans because talking about mj get them attention. Plus his garbage son gets paid almost half a million to be useless on the team. I hope to god Cho is making the decisions now.
The curse of Higgins!

Lets see.. Higgins tried to trade Tyson Chandler for Jose Caleron,
Traded Tyson for Erika Dampier, Matt Caroll, and Nareja
Traded a future pick for TT
Signed his Garbage in Human form son as the 16th man over Dante Cunningham, Jeremy Lin, Ish Smith, Taylor Griffin...

Fire this bastard

In hindsight, we should have done the Calderon trade. That deal likely means no Dampier, no Carroll, and no Najera. It also means that Doris the Explorer is filling his tummy on Canadian bacon and pancakes. Also means we likely have roster spots to pick up some of those dudes.

MJ should have authorized the deal.

also means we probably wouldn't have drafted Kemba and would have drafted Alec Busts.. probably means we wouldn't have Biyombo either

Maybe we could trade Rod Higgins... We could be the first team to do this kind of a trade. Just use him as a throw-in for a Boris Diaw trade during the all-star weekend.

Gerald Green 6'8" SF signed by Nets. Another smart signing by a team not in CHA?

Green is averaging 22.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per 36 minutes in 22 games this season.

In the past month, he’s recorded six games with seven rebounds or more (to go along with a 48.0 shooting percentage, and 45.8 percent from 3-point range), and somewhere in the range of three assists per game.

http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/green_w ... 02_25.html

But he wouldn't have helped us more than Cory. Yes I'm still bitter. Fire Higgins!
