My friends in Colorado are going nuts over this.

I have never smoked (don't plan to) but I'm all for legalization.

I agree, as long as smokers don't force others to smell it, driven under influence etc. what's the matter? Here it is bit odd as it is ok to use it but you can't grow your own (there arev some measures of what is personal use, but I don't know and don't care - I might not be up to date anyway). Possesions were never really sanctioned sanctioned, though bizarre cases like occur once in a while now only when plants involved.

US presidental elections were boring this year we here are up to better :-) (January 2013) - besides established parties candidates and formal/current politics acting as independent candidates (you can be nominated by accumulating 50k signatures to your support besides other requirments), there is a university teacher, professer, prolific opera and theater music composer, painter, with a law degree (never pursued a career in it due to deformed state of justice during communist regime) and the point is http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/vladimir-franz ; still a long shot but he seemed to be in the mix, a dark horse of the election maybe (pun intended). No extremist opinions, quite the opposite, rather a philosphic approach with stressed moral values.
Two rounds, 11 candidates total (probably - signatures supporting independent candidates are now counted and validated), including Franz, common political figures including former prime ministers, former actress and Tokyo-born populist going from talking-head to be just recently elected to higher chamber of parliament. You can tell who would make a best postage stamp :-)

brings up an interesting point. How will the NBA deal with players testing positive to cannabis?

Would they still try to discipline players if its legal?

This is what I'd assume as well. But it'll be interesting to see what happens if more and more states follow the trend.

I was curious enough to tweet Bonnell about it and got this back.

Absolutely. It's collective bargaining. There are over-the-counter drugs the NFL bans because they could mask Performance-enhancers

On a side note, Skyfall is amazing, Daniel Craig outdid himself yet again
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere
