never been a fan of Ewings. The guy's always thought he was something he wasn't. fall away jump shooter as a player. head coach. we'll see.

meanwhile, It's a good move for the Cats.

Very pleased with this hire. I think he'll provide 3 key things we could use:

- a good balance between players and coach
- player development (especially with the bigs)
- A pedigree of talent/background that our players will respect

Good points. These young guys need a guy who's been there done that, someone they can respect and "listen" to.

Please, no. Even if James Naismith could somehow work with Tyrus, there would be no hope.

I'll give Tyrus until the amnesty deadline in 2013, please do that MJ.

I wonder if the Big Red Dog was consulted about Ewing's title before it was dialed out?

Someone on the GB said Clifford was a known big man coach. So if the Bobcats have Clifford and Ewing as the two main coaches then... :D I hope they also exclusively work on Biz too

All this talk of Ewing work with Howard and how is pretty much the same player he was when he came in to the league..he hasn't grown at all as a player

I'd speculated earlier that he might be the Bobcats coach due to his relationship with MJ. Great to see this happen. He'll help Biyombo and the group in general. Great add.

Looks like he steadily grew for his first 5 years in the league then leveled off around the 20/14 range. Hard to complain about that

Are you serious? Dwight averaged 12/10/1.7 on 52% shooting when he entered the league and now averages when healthy 20/14/2-2.5 on 57-60% shooting.
