MKG completely owned Hayward last night. Dude is a game-changer on defense. It was also nice to see him hit a nothing-but-net jumper from the #shamecorner in the 4th quarter, I'd really like him to work on adding a corner 3 to his game.

Maybe in year 5 or 6. If he can just keep this up I'll be extremely happy. I want him finishing more games. Once MKG Biz came in yesterday the Jazz comeback run was quashed.

It could happen next season if you ask me. He hit a couple 17-18 footers last night. The corner three is what, 21 feet?

MKG isn't adding a three pointer to his arsenal anytime soon.

Last season we would have said the same thing about an 18 foot pull up jumper. Just saying.

He doesn't seem that far in front of the three point line on those corner jumpers. I think it is realistic.

I wonder how many of those midrange shots have been catch and shoot. Seems like he always takes a couple dribbles to set it up. I think he went to the Gerald Henderson school of taking two dribbles to set up your mid range J.

Interesting, would have guessed a much wider spread.

Mkg being under utilised not only stunted his development as our 2nd overall pick, but it hurts our team cause in the second half of games when MKG plays the guys run the offense using half of the court because they fear the ball in his hands especially on the perimeter which is the ONLY place we set him at knowing that isnt his strength. I have said he should be used in the post or no more than 10-15 feet from the rim in scoring position, but no, we labeled him as a role playing energy guy when he can clearly do more than that. Putting him in the shame corner hurts our offense, it forces Kemba, Al and Hendo to think they have to carry more of the scoring load when all we need to do is keep MKG around the rim where he naturlly likes to play. We could very easilly be better scoring team if we play to our strengths.
Mkg scoring 65 percent of his shots in the paint is proof that he needs to ne set around paint as opposed to the shame corner to attempt jumpers when that's not his game.

Kemba can score, Hendo has a solid mid range game, Al can post up, MKG can post up and slash, Cody can shoot from the top of the key. Lance can run the offense, Neal is a shooter, Marv is a shooter, Biz defends and rebounds, these guys should all have roles that they can do, but as long as Cliff devalues MKG with our starters we'll never reach our potential with him on this team, same with Lance. These are good players who struggle in a system that doesnt fit, instead of erasing the system, we refuse to play the players and talk of needing to trade them, thats my problem with this coach and team.

Jefferson supposedly held everyone back.
