Lol. You really, really hate him dont you? Atleast give him a little props every now and then. Sheesh.

I gave him his props but he does have a point. Zeller plays more like a euro big and would be a good player to practice against for such cases. Zeller as a zone forward would simulate the game well.

euro bigs are plodders and can shoot

I was thinking more as a soft defensive zone presence.

Hopefully Zeller will surprise, he will have to if he wants serious meaningful minutes.

Zeller has an opportunity to take over McRoberts' role - Amin Elhassan

Cody Zeller | PF | Charlotte Hornets

Zeller has looked a lot more assertive on the floor this year and more sure of himself, and that confidence has definitely manifested itself in the box score, where he has shot an impressive 63 percent from the field. His combination of size and speed makes him an extremely tough cover, and he's finding ways to get open looks around the rim by being active and taking full advantage of his physical gifts.

It comes as a surprise that, although Zeller has been magnificent around the rim, he has not shot well from outside, one of his purported strengths coming out of Indiana. Not only has he shot poorly but he also has taken limited attempts. It's nice to know he knows his way around the basket, but, as the Hornets seek to fill the void left by Josh McRoberts, it's imperative that the power forward be able to space the defense somewhat for Al Jefferson, and Zeller hasn't proved to be the type of threat who can garner the respect of opposing defenses.

I'm actually glad he's reining in his mid-range shots. When he started rounding into form toward the end of last season he was crashing the boards and banging inside like a good energy big should. He seems to find ways to make himself useful inside, but he's never shown anything resembling the mid-range game that was touted during the draft process. Might as well double down on his strengths and make a positive impact down in the paint. Bricking a bunch of 17-footers for "spacing" (when no one will pop out to guard him anyway because he shoots 25% from range) isn't helping anyone.

I detailed awhile back that they need to have a tv show with his brothers where they pile into a Fiat and drive around doing odd jobs. This just solidifies my thought process. They could even have contests for the jobs and loser has to sit in the back seat or has to do something the other two brothers have to mandate, like Impractical Jokers.

Fats also brought up this should be in the works after the Biz Bros start their show. I agree, but I think it should be simultaneously. They should do it like the Real World and Road Rules, where the seasons air at opposite times, but they always have that one episode in each show where they meet up with the other show. So when the Biz Bros meet up on the Zany Zellers Jobs(I'm terrible at names) it's a Zellers vs Biyombo match to see who can pick up the most golf balls at a driving range near Ocean Isle while the others hit balls at them. Then When the Zellers visit the Biz Bros the Zellers have to try and keep up with the hashtags and the crossfit.

That would be great television.

Suggestions for show names?

Back to Bizness is absolute gold.

I can imagine the hilarity that would ensue from the Zeller's trying to Crossfit against Biz and his crew. Likewise, I think Biz's questionable hands would be a huge impediment to him picking up tiny golf balls under duress.

I can also already see the General Board rants that would follow these episodes. "Tyler and Cody Zeller are obviously stiffs, the Biyombo's crushed them in the Crossfit challenge. They're worth protected 2nd round picks at best." vs. "If Biz can't pick up golf balls while people are driving in his direction, how the hell do you expect me to believe he can catch lobs in the paint while banging against NBA-caliber big men? Did you notice how tired he got in that challenge? That's why his per-36 numbers will never scale up, he's a career roleplayer period. Also, you can totally tell he's really 26 years old if you watch the show."

They already have the social media infrastructure ready to roll. C'mon TruTV, let's do this.

Cody Zeller ‏@CodyZeller 50m

I play basketball in front of 20,000 people like nobody's watching. One kid cutting grass stops to watch me tee off and I completely whiff!

Noah's arms look as long as Cody's legs in that last pic. Poor Cody.

Man, Vonleh is a big ass guy for someone that just turned 19 years old today. Sheesh.

From this block of young steel, the future of The Hornets will be forged. Noah may one day prove to be the best draft pick ever by our team.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Why is Wade at that event? I thought he was from Chicago.
