fatlever - found this show on the archive the other day and it totally sucked me in: https://archive.org/details/gd77-02-26.%20...%20sbeok.shnf

EDIT: also, I've been a big fan this Phil & Friends show that has Trey and Kimock on guitar for a while - https://archive.org/details/1999-04-16.paf.sbd.miller.25296.sbeok.flacf

Ahh yes, 2-26-1977. Swing Auditorium. I used to have this one on tape. Great show. Gotta love the Playing -> Wheel -> Playing sandwich. If I remember correctly that show was the first live version of Terrapin and Estimated.

McCartney is just a frickin genius. It's amazing hearing his interviews and he just sounds like a dorky man who loves music.
absolutely no attitude or arrogance.

I don't really know that much post-Beatles stuff from any of them so this song was news to me. absolutely love it, can't stop playing it. a great example of McCartney's vocal range that I talked about.

Thanks! I'll see if there is an album on which a few of these appears which I would then listen to. (can't construct that sentence properly to save my life as I'm a bit drunk)

Most of those you can find on the Greatest Hits stuff. Their 1st album "Band on the Run" has 3 of those songs and its really good top to bottom.

This is a mix of Wings and solo McCartney. It has 6 of the songs mentioned, plus a few other good ones, including some of the cheesy 80s stuff like Ebony Ivory, Say Say Say etc...

Here is Band on the Run, full album

and I already posted Magneto and Titanium man on the previous pages of this thread.

Disarm might be my new favorite album from them. Unlike most bands, they've gotten heavier

Yeah, Dilla and The Roots worked together pretty often throughout their earlier years, and after his death, The Roots released a lot of tributes to him. After he died, they released a full mixtape called Dilla Jawns, which Dice Raw would later go onto rap over in another mixtape called Dilla, Dice, Pregunte.

If you're a Dilla fan, they're all worth listening to. The Roots seemed to be one of the groups most shaken by Dilla's death, so they've done a lot in his memory, from those mixtapes all the way to incorporating beats of his into Game Theory and How I Got Over.
