these ratings are different than those posted by the OP. what ratings are in the nextgen game?

I know the 2k15 ratings are calculated differently. That may be the case in your situation. maybe the new OVR rating logic wasn't implemented in the 360 version.

The ratings in the OP are the same ratings I've got on my PC

They have a LOTof new ratings, like Esal mentioned even for durability they have it down to body parts. The also have a new way to calculate overall ratings to make specialist/role players show more value. The PC version this year is just like the current gen stuff, so the previous generation version is basically an updated copy of last years game.

Yea there's a whole new ranking system in the new game. Although it is cool to see Jefferson a 90. Wow.
In the new game there are only 3 players at 90 or above.
The Lamb flock's vision has come true.

first full game - made a few tweaks to sliders and such, still need to fix a few things to make the gameplay a bit more real for my playing style.

lost to wizards by 5 115-110

jefferson with 35/9/3
walker wtih 16/2/8
zeller 11/10/1
marvin 10/10/3
hendo 10/0/2
neal 9/4/3
lance 9/3/4
vonleh 4/2/1
mkg 4/2/4, 34 mins, 2-for-6 - other than minutes, so realistic... haha.. just kidding, sorta
biz 2/4/0

gotta figure out how to play defense against quick pgs. wall just ran by kemba to the rim after single time down. he ended with 35pts on 33 shots

NBA 2k15 is my first 2k game since NBA 2k13, and I have to say that despite the games flaws, it feels and players terrific. I started off playing on rookie but worked my way up to hall of fame (the picture below was on HOF). It took me a little while to grab the starting spot, and even longer to gel with my new lineup-mates, however we get along fine (EXCEPT FOR ZELLER F*CK ZELLER, VONLEH IS SO MUCH BETTER)....

My player is named Carl Gregory, which was a randomly generated name that I can't help but laugh at. I thought my players first name was Abe for some reason, some my twitter handle in game is @Abe which ticks me off.... And it's way to late to restart as I'm 76 overall (over 50,000 VC earned into the game).

Below is probably the best all-around 2k game I've had since 2k11. Difficultly was on HOF. Sliders on default.

Image
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Players I like to play with:

Al Jefferson- duh. He scores and rebounds like a beast

Vonleh - he is so dynamic both on offense and defense. he can hit the midrange j in a pinch, he can block shots, he rebounds, and he sets monster screens.Shoots 67% in my campaign.

Biyombo - Defensive beast who stops anything that comes his way. Best help defense on the team.

Stephenson - can be frustrating cause he wants to dance every time he gets the ball. But, there is no-one better to dump the ball off to with 3 remaining on the shot clock. He will make it 60% of the time. Also a beast when driving.

Neal- he makes the 3.

Harriston- he makes like every shot. He is yet to miss off of one of my assists.

MKG - he does everything and is fearless in game. He might have a 60 3pt rating, but he nails em when it counts. He is frequently wide open and is the perfect target to dump off the ball to when you are double teamed. He rebounds the ball at an extremely high rate, he makes defensive plays left and right. He doesn't get the stats that say, Jefferson, does, but he almost always has a positive +/- score every game.

Players I don't like to play with:

Walker- always does something stupid with the ball and was underrated on D by 2k. He is a TO machine, and refuses to be an assist magnet.

Zeller- sets the weakest screens ever while only being able to score directly under the basket. Isn't a great defender or rebounder, and worst of all starts over Vonleh in game. :( Vonleh is a beast in 2k.

Zeller actually sets some pretty solid screens. He sets about 55 of them a game so he has plenty of practice.

Our cheerleaders could set better screens than the ones he does in 2k.

I'm pretty sure Honeybee Victoria could take Zeller in a fight. If not in real life, then at the very least in 2k.

I normally play our team but trade to get Andre Drummond as my center. This year I was excited about our team enough to want to play them mostly as is (traded Hendo/Zeller for Josh Smith) so I kept Al. Going from playing perimeter defense with Al as my center instead of Drummond has been... frustrating...

why in gods name would you use a center for perimeter defense??? Use your power forward or small forward for that.

------------------

In other news just reached 95 overall. My park pisses me off, as there apparently are unblockable dunk animations (cock back tomahawks I'm pretty sure) and you'll have these jackasses who just sit there am spam that **** till the end of time. Also, any contact inside (outside of dunking) and you miss, thanks to how shity the simulation sliders are. They need to make inside shots (and/or layups) more effective, as right now layups are **** useless.

Also, defense still needs to be worked on. I've gotten better at it, but there should be some sort of working defensive assist system, that is currently non-existent.

If anyone plays on PC and is looking for a capable Squad-mate hit me up. God knows I've lost the vast majority of my games due to idiots (had one guy attempting full court shots all game, and we still only lost by 2).....

I swear to god...

The Bulls are way overpowered. I'm the starting PG for the Mavs, and I'm still very nearly averaging a triple-double through 7-8 games, and Derrick Rose played 23 minutes (because I drew four fouls on him in the first half) and just scored 49 points and a triple double on me, playing nearly the entire 2nd half with 5 fouls. Everything about him is completely unstoppable, and then Noah is insane defensively. Prime Rodman and prime Tim Duncan's defensive abilities added together do not even touch how impeccable Noah's paint defense is. It's completely ridiculous.

I don't use Al for perimeter defense. I primarily use Kemba but also some Lance and MKG. I was saying that it is frustrating playing defense when Al is your center because just like in real life he just watches driving players shoot layups/dunks over him.

Anyone here playing on a PC? I could really use a reliable mypark squad!

My 6'4 MyPlayer PG is a beast now. I am 96 overall, and have maxed out my shooting, inside, playmaker, and nearly am done with my Defensive bars.

I had this epic 3 on 3 game last night against a REALLY good squad they had this 6'11 beast who we just didn't have the size to defend (our tallest guy was 6'7) as well as two other REALLY solid wing players. My team was.... lacking in scoring ability... so I sort of carried us to victory (teammates were solid at team play though).

I ended up scoring 14 points out of the 18 it took for us to win (that close of a game- as games usually go up to 15, but you have to win by 2!). My team was down by 1 for the majority of the game, and the most we, or the opponent, were ever down by was 2. Near the end of the game they started to create some distance from us, as they had a 9 to 11 advantage over us, but my team stepped up our defense and equalized, something that would last until the other team would again gain a 14-15 advantage over us (so game point). But I managed to drain a 2 pointer to give us a 16-15 lead. They scored on the following possession, but I nailed another 2 pointer to win the game 18-16.

I scored my team's last 8 points, and finished with a ridiculous 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assist, 4 steals, 2 blocks on 12-13 FG (10 one pointers, 2 two pointers- both at the end of the game)........ Needless to say I got some good rep after that game. I was involved in every one of my team's score.

this game is ridiculous. even on superstar. I average a damn triple-double in place of Jameer Nelson on a loaded Mavs team and we're 1-9 so far this season. god damn
