Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics has been selected as an All Star Reserve, per source

If true, the tiny sliver of a chance of Kemba making it is gone. It was always going to come down to one of Kemba, Thomas and Jackson (if any). Never two of the three.

Wish Walker could have made it but, if so, Isiah Thomas deserves it. He's posted better scoring and assist numbers on a similar # of shot attempts with fairly comparable FG% and has Boston sitting with winning record going into the break

I probably would have put Thomas on the team ahead of Kemba if I was picking the teams with no bias. I always feel that when several players of similar production and position are deserving, tie should go to to player on the better team.

All week it's been bugging me that the All-Star rosters are 12 men despite the NBA moving to 13 since the lockout. I just knew he'd be just on the outside.

Focus on getting this bum team to the playoffs Kemba. MKG about to be back. The all star game would've only been a distraction of false achievement. You gotta get us in the playoffs consistently and then they'll recognize you as a all star. That's why Wall got in easily. Wins mean something.

I see no way possible Kemba make All-NBA at the PG position unless he turn into Steph Curry and we turn into the Warriors post all star break. Lol

Al was able to make All-NBA that other year because the C position was weak and he went on a crazy tear where our offense just force fed him offensively almost every play.

The thought of Kemba making All-NBA would get him clowned around these parts. People already laugh at comparing him to Mike Conley when Kemba got better career numbers.

Basically, Kemba at home is most definitely an All-Star worthy player. Kemba on the road is just an inefficient chucker.

That's what I'm talking about. I can't wait to trade Kemba. He's anti-winning. You just can't win with his chucker style of play. I'd rather give the keys to Brian Roberts but fortunately for us we have a better PG in Jeremy Lin. I hope a team do entertain a Kemba trade this deadline. Like I posted in the game thread, now is the best time to put him on the trade block while he's at a high.

I think he would be very good being the scorer off the bench, ala Jack, Crawford, Mills, Terry, Harden, Mo Will, Delk, Dixon, NVE, V. Johnson, T. Best, L. Williams, I. Thomas before this year etc.

Of course, to do that, a team would need capable scorers at other positions, especially a big.

Augustin was also Jordan brand.

Being Jordan brand is irrelevant.
