Attempts down from 5.4/game in November to 3.0/game in December.

Not getting nearly as much love from the refs this past month.

"BBMF'ers"

His drives to the rim in both months seems to be the same, around 10 per game.

I'm really upset with Kemba for not being Lebron James. Kemba not being Lebron is killing our team.

If Batum was as good as James Harden, MKG was as good as Kawhi Leonard, Marv was as good as Kevin Love, and Cody was as good as Marc Gasol we'd have a championship team. Unfortunately we have to work with what we got.

Now I'm upset with MKG, Marv, and Cody. Trade em all for picks and tank for one of Lebron's kids.

Sometimes you have to reciprocate the same nonsense some people spew back at them from a different angle just to let them see how absurd their arguments be.

Under the new cap Kemba is getting paid like a middling and average ranked player at his position. Jeremy Lin make about the same money as Kemba. He's far from what's holding this team back.

I assume this is a knock against guys like Kyrie and Thomas who are complete turnstiles on defense. What did that ESPN insider article say about Kyrie? I assume this tweet is related.

@hornetslmartin
Kemba averaging 27.6 over the last 6 games. He's hit 21 of 34 three pointers in same stretch.

holy f at that 3PT%.

Kemba is shooting 42% from 3 on almost 7 attempts per game this season. His 3PT% this season matches his career high FG%. Unbelievable how he has transformed his shooting, and huge credit should go both to him, our coaching staff, and our FO for giving him the pieces he needs to be successful.

As usual we turn into crap by mid-January. With that said goodbye Charlotte Ranger Walker. You will not be making the all-star game.

DeRozan was named an All-Star starter over Wade. What does this mean for Kemba?

Sorry I couldn't find the other thread.

DeMar was going to get in anyway. I'm more optimistic about Kemba's chances now that we know Wade isn't stealing a place on the roster.

IT, Lowry, Wall, and Love are locks at this point. George will likely get in too. That leaves two spots for Kemba, Millsap, Embiid, Whiteside, Horford, Drummond, Porzingis, Parker, Blopez, or the lifetime achievement award for Wade or Melo.

Somebody on reddit said something to the effect of...

Kyrie/Kemba is like Fruit Loops/Fruit Hoops. They're identical products produced on the same assembly line, but good luck explaining that to your kid.

This season, 26 players are taking at least two pull-up threes per game, up from 17 in 2013-14 and 21 last season. Of the guys taking at least two per game this season, 12 are hitting at least 36 percent (the league average for all threes), up from five in ’13-14. Kemba Walker is taking 4.5 per game and hitting 37.3 percent; Kyle Lowry is taking 4.1 per game and hitting 41.5; James Harden is making less than 32 percent of his, but he’s taking 6.4 a game, tied for the most in the four years the NBA has kept track of pull-ups. We can’t write off this wave of Steph-like gunners who have emerged as mere early-season noise this deep into the schedule. These players aren’t just taking Curry’s signature shots — they’re making a good number of them as well. And that says something about the way teams are approaching modern offense.

link

7 players average 4 or more pull up 3PTAs per game - Harden, Curry, Kemba, Westbrook, Lillard, Lowry, IT. Of those 7, Kemba ranks 3rd in 3PT%.

It is truly unbelievable how effective Kemba's 3PT shooting has become.

Kemba also shoots 45.2% on C&S threes. Among players who attempt 2 or more C&S 3s per game (165 total players), Kemba's 3PT% ranks 11th.

I think Kemba is going to go into God mode after the Allstar break

I don't think for a second this is coincidental as Hinkie is well educated and a fan of Classic British Lit

Wow, I can't believe Kemba got asked for 3pt comp. Very deserving based on his numbers this year. How did we get here? It's gonna be a fun AllStar Weekend.

It does make me wonder of the Hornets and the league kinda had a behind closed doors, wink wink deal to put Hornets in comps during ASW to make up for us losing the game.
