Spencer Hawes 2.0....

Name one player who is a starter that is similiar to Frank Kaminsky...

All the players he projects similarly to come off the bench....

Ryan Anderson, Spencer Hawes, Pero Antic, etc...

Stay away....

How many bigs have shot over 40% from three in high volume in college though? It's not like there are a lot of guys with his skill set that are failing. There just aren't a lot of guys with his skill set period.

I think it's funny that we always compare white guys to other white guys. Lol. He reminds me of a less precocious LaMarcus Aldridge.

Id take him over Myles Turner, easily.

Bargnani?

Would he be a comparison?

Probably, but he was always a pretty poor rebounder and defender. I think Frank is a lot more well rounded of a player.

Frank is too much of a tweener on defense for me. not strong enough to guard centers or athletic enough to defend the rim and not quick enough to defend PF's.

If we draft a big, i want a legitimate center.

Honestly, after the **** he talked about our franchise last offseason I absolutely don't want him.

For the love of god please no Kaminsky. He'll be decent but he's essentially Spencer Hawes. Not somebody you want to draft anywhere in the lottery.

7-1 height with 6-11 wingspan, basically Zeller but he doesn't have the athletic ability to make up for it

Basically Kelly Olynyk with a haircut.
I used to like Frank then I looked up what he said about CHA:
“I know the NBA has their crazy fans and all, but if you look at all of their games, there are games when teams like the Bobcats get hardly any fans, and it looks flat out boring,” Kaminsky wrote on his blog.

Go swim with the fishes Frank.

A part of me wants to join in on the "**** Frank" chorus, but then again it'd be kinda funny for him to end up here and play for our "boring" fans.

Then again, I don't really like him as a prospect either......

**** Frank.

I can see Cliff going nuts for a player like Frank, hopefully his negative comments stop us from picking him. the boos will put the Zeller draft party to shame.

Kaminsky said in that interview that he hopes to be a stretch PF. Given his measurables I think that's going to be necessary. I can see Detroit picking him.

I've been back and fourth on Kaminsky between not wanting him at all and being on the fence with him. His combine measurements has definitely brought me back to not wanting him at all. The height was no surprise, but that wingspan is a joke. I thought I heard someone say he had long arms and was naively expecting at least a 7'2 wingspan. LOL. Anyway, it would be great if Detroit took him at 8.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens if we draft Kaminsky.
