The effect of the lottery on free agency is interesting this year with both the Knicks and Lakers having cap space and a high pick. The Lakers are highly likely to take whoever is not taken by Minnesota out of Towns or Okafor and the Knicks will take whoever is left out of Russell or Mudiay. I think this makes it more likely that the Lakers end up actually signing Rondo and the Knicks will go hard after Gasol (lol) and Monroe.
