2015-16 College Basketball / Draft Prospects Thread
Figured this is worth making to be a catch all for the season and also for draft prospects.
So apparently Brandon Ingram can reach pretty high when he jumps:

That'll probably be more difficult when he weighs more than 120 pounds though.

UNC needs to get it together. The Duke/UNC rivalry isn't the same when UNC isn't landing top tier recruits. Even Jalek Felton, the nephew of Raymond is taking calls from Calipari after verbally committing. And hes been a UNC lock since he was in 8th grade.

I am thoroughly looking forward to Duke finally playing Kentucky this year.

Jayson Tatum, the second ranked recruit for that class and Giles are very good friends. Tatum committed to Duke. If Giles commits with him that's a freaking crazy, amazing class for Duke. #1 and #2.
Jeff Capel is an outstanding recruiter. Jon Scheyer as well.

I was reading about Diamond Stone last week. Looks like an interesting prospect. Might be a future fatty though.
Eddy Curry?
(In skill set and size?)

Henry Ellenson - all day. He won't play center much in the NBA even though he has the body for it. He's an absurdly skilled PF in a legit 6'10" frame. Maybe 2 years in college but see him top 5 when he comes out.

I know he's had his issues physically against some of the other top players lately, but at 7 **** 2, this is absolutely absurd.

That's Thon Maker - yes?
He's part Australian, part Canadian (and a "little" Sudanese I guess).
What's not to love??

My man Nigel. Love that guy. One of the smartest most intuitive players I've ever watched. Great feel for the game, quick learner, hard worker, natural leader, 40% 3 point shooter, advanced post game, strong as hell. Three/Four combo with length and good (not elite) athleticism. Second best player on the Final Four team with more upside than Dekker. Nigel is very much like Draymond Green with all the intangibles.

I have Charlotte in the 10-16 range as well, currently making the PO, but you could easily finish 10th, so who knows.
I think you should go after the best big available, I know you have drafted 3 in a row, but all of them are PFs and Vonleh got traded.
Biyombo was not re-signed for some reason and Al is a FA and the only way I´d bring him back if I am Charlotte is to play back-up C and at a cheaper rate.
Poeltl is the best case scenario in that range, Diallo, who is more of a high motor, running big, could be an option, I like Zimmerman but he is really similar to Zeller and personally I dont see Ellenson as a 1&done type, Damian Jones is the safe option, dual threat big, long, can run the floor, good rebounder, he is going to be at least solid and can play both C and PF.
Bender, Skal and Stone are pipe dreams, those guys are going top10, even top5.
I like Ivan Rabb a lot, but he is clearly a PF and I dont see him fitting with what you have unless Cody is moved.
Between Poeltl and Jones as of now for me, if you go wing, that means that Batum is likely to leave and the trade has been a disaster.

I have doubts about Stone. His conditioning has improved but seems like it'll be a consistent struggle - and that frame on those knees. He's fairly agile for a big, but translating 2 levels is the question.

Yeah I was just poking fun at us drafting 4s every year. So I just listed the top PFs in a "big board."

Surprised the uconn fans haven't been bragging about them landing Alterique Gilbert. 5 star stud. Great pick up.

Re: 2015-16 College Basketball / Draft Prospects Thread
UNC needs to fire Roy ass asap and get a young coach, but precisely this year the team should be better than Duke and warrant a 1st seed come the Madness, we have the best mix in the NCAA of talent, depth and seniority with Maryland.
Duke got talent and I love their recruits but they are really young, they will exciting but I expect them to be irregular also.
This year is North Carolina's chance, although I have Maryland 1st overall in my preseason rankings.

Maverick Rowan committed to NC State. Nice top 30 addition for Mark Gottfried. I'm sure BD is happy with this one.

If UNC doesn't win this year than something is seriously wrong. Team is stacked.
