If the NCAA is going to get all over SMU about that hopefully UNC gets jack hammered.

Sadly here we go, as a MKG fan and a Hornets friend, not fan but I got love for the team... I am the first to say tank for Dragan, fourth PF in a row, there you go.

Cliff won't tank, it's his contract year. He needs to win in order to get a new contract, or he's out of a job at the end of the season.

He doesn't have a say so, unfortunately. WIth MKG out one more long term injury could really devastate us. Whether it be Walker, Jefferson, Batum, Whomever.

If someone else goes down the team could easily be the worst in the league.

The team might end in the lottery, but it won't be because Cliff deliberately tanked by benching a healthy Kemba and starting 3rd string Roberts, the way Byron Scott started Ronnie Price, or pulled guys out every time they go on a hot streak in order to make sure to lose the game.

Yeah, Clifford wouldn't do that.

my "Want list" if we are picking 1-5 (very limited research)
1- Jaylen Brown, SF
2- Ben Simmons, SF/PF
3- Brandon Ingram, SF
4- Cheick Diallo PF/C
5- Jamal Murray, PG/SG

I have you picking Poeltl at 7th overall right now, with Bender, Simmons, Labissiere, Ingram, Murray and Brown gone before you pick.
I have Portland, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Minnesota, LA, and Denver as teams with worse record than Charlotte, I think it will be right there with Orlando and NY though, so the pick could be anywhere from 6th to 9th overall, pre-lotto, at least that's my belief as of now.

Lots of teams could be worse than Charlotte. In addition to the above Miami, Milwaukee, Sacramento, Phoenix, Utah, Detroit, Indiana. Some will be better, others worse but Charlotte drafting in top 9 is nearly their worst case scenario and every other teams best case scenario.

You guys were the favorite for Seventh Woods forever. Now somehow South Carolina has edged ahead. Roy better get it together, and in a hurry or next year could be painful.
Carolina's team in 2016/17 has the chance to be the worst I remember ever, if Meeks, Pinson and Jackson leave for the Draft, with Markkanen going to AZ and Woods seeming to be a long shot... we could be terrible
Lets hope we make a title run this year at least.

Yup, at Kansas, his son is better than him though, big, big get for Arizona, Ryan Anderson, Tollefsen and Tarczewski are Seniors, and they didnt have anybody after Leaf de-committed fron 2016 class.

obviously you don't remember 2002. there's almost no possible way they can be worse than that. Also a very low chance that Meeks, Pinson and Jackson all leave. Especially for Pinson thats a long shot.
Now if the NCAA crushed hard that could be a different story, but I don't like to read tea leaves when it comes to those guys.

Giles suppose to make decision in next couple weeks. I'd he shocked if it wasn't Duke.

It would be pretty interesting if Wake landed Giles. It's been far too long since they've snagged top recruits with Carolina and Duke.
