Wow Lin already has 3 threads on him
Hope Lin is ok with his ankle injury!
Hate to see him miss the showdown against the Lakers

Hornets don't need Lin to beat the Lakers.

Lin needs to sit out for awhile like the other guys. Dumb to be playing injured and keep making it worse.

Injury looked really bad. For a moment, I thought his ankle could have been broken.

I think LIn misses 3 games but this is just a guess. I think the team needs 2 of Batum, Kemba or Lin to win consistently. If 2 of them are out, there's not much chance against the winnable games. Batum didn't look great last night but maybe he'll look better tomorrow night. Kemba and Batum may be able to beat Portland, but they'll have to play well.

Lin should shoot for the Cavaliers game. Don't play this weekend and then if possible and he's reasonably stable on the ankle, for next Wednesday. The schedule is favorable for guys getting rest. Don't need Lin for the Lakers and tonight maybe Lamb comes back to help. Don't know about MKG, I think they shouldn't rush him back and should stick to the mid-late Feb return. Just my gut feeling that he looks OK but real-game playing is different and it is way earlier than projected for the type of injury he had.

I agree and think he should take at least 2 weeks off if not longer to get fully healed. Batum is back, let him show his worth if he is going to get the max starting next season.

Lin is a 2 mil per year player looking for his next contract at this point, no need to risk further injury unecessarily. If hornets can't compete without Lin now, then what are the chances they can next year when Lin is gone.

I was worried Lin's season ended. If he takes until the all-star break to heal up, I'll understand though I might throw up having to watch Brian Roberts for 15+ minutes a game. For all his flaws, the guy is a warrior, but no need to risk re-injury on what looked like a pretty rough injury.

Lin's injury looks really bad. He left the arena in a walking boot. I'd be happy if he can return right after the ASB.

^ Sweet. He got his Lakers teammates the same thing, but in purple and gold, custom made, with their nicknames.

He won't be out long if this is correct.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/injuries

This was updated from saying he'd be out until at least Feb 3.

Don't know how accurate it is but it says for MKG at least until Feb 5.

I really hope MKG is ready to come back and won't be re-injured and that the med staff isn't rushing him back.
