Are we going to get a bump in traffic from the Mexican hoops fans?

He's not exactly lighting the D-League on fire

Gutierrez averages 11.3 points and 5.7 assists this season for the Canton Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ NBDL affiliate. Since Gutierrez isn’t playing under a Cavaliers contract, any NBA team can sign him.

He is shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 20.5 percent from 3-point range this season.

From what I hear about Gutierrez his biggest strength is defense. Not much of a shooter.

27 years old, undrafted in 2012. The name actually does seem somewhat familiar, probably due to brief stints with Brooklyn and Milwaukee. Multiple all-defense teams in the D-League and made the All-NBA-D-League team a couple years ago.

Feels like a Jamario or Jannero signing, but we'll see.

We aren't going to wait for decent vets to get bought out?

It's gotta be a 10-day contract, right?

It's worth noting that Elliott Williams started declining 10-day deals a few weeks ago in favor of a "lucrative" overseas contract. Good for him, but you just know he was at the top of our list.

That's not a bad thing, I guess Nic will play PG with him in case Kemba or Lin can't play

Wow, seriously? He is muy terrible. Most of his NBA career is due to playing PG at JKidd's Cal.

He just plain sucks, there's nothing I can sugarcoat here.

We need a third string PG. I mean it's pretty much as simple as that.

This is the guy who played at California right? I vaguely remember him having a reputation of being a good defender, but think he got in trouble during the tournament when he got a little heated.

Also...

No se mucho sobre este hombre, pero si puede defender bien los otros guardias, creo que podria aceptar el contrato. Tambien, si Batum tiene un titulo de su pagina de discusion in frances, pienso que Jorge necesita una en espanol.
