So, in a couple years the Lakers are going to be Ball/George/Ingram/Lebron/Zubac?

Damn!!!

Lopez to Lakers, Russell to Nets.

Does this mean Russell takes Lin's job as starting PG or does this mean Russell and Lin start together?

It's time to call up the Nets and trade 11 and Sessions for Lin and 22. Let them go full rebuild with the youth.

Lakers selling Russell short. Giving him up just to get rid of mozgov's contract for Brook Lopez and a late pick? Basically gave up a young stud for nothing. Just an idiotic move.

They are freeing up all that cash so they can add PG + still have room for another huge salary for a free agent.

I'm sort of shocked that we didn't end up trading for Lopez. Not because I actually thought we would, but we just talked about it so much that I didn't think he could go somewhere else.

Mozgov's albatross contract Drove that price down, Bravo on Cho from not having anything to do with that!

Ball / ???
Swaggy P / Clarkson
Ingram / Deng
Randle / Nance Jr.
Lopez / Zubac

The Lakers are much improved next year already if they keep Brook.

predators wrote:I would put Lebrons move to Miami at about a 5 out 10 on the lame scale. He had no robin to his batman, the cavs were capped/ aged out and had no way of acquiring anyone that could have helped that team compete with KG\Pierce\Allen for another couple of years.

This feels like revisionist history to me (and I'm not calling you out here - this is more in general).

Folks were PISSED when Lebron left for Miami. What was the league coming to when players colluded to get together and form a superteam? No one in the league would be able to compete! Bron talked about bringing 6 chips to Miami in their intro. The boards were full of folks posting trash about Lebron and dumping on him for doing what he did (and how). If you asked anyone at the time most folks would have said 10/10 on the lame scale then.

Personally it didn't make me mad when Lebron left for Maimi and I don't begrudge Durant, Iggy, or any other player choosing to play where they want and with the people they want to. Personally I think that what Clay Bennett did to Seattle & the league in general, was way worse than anything Durant did.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I hope Lopez balls out for the Lakers next year to get that 2018 top 5 pick away from the Celtics. Make them wait until 2019 for the Kings pick. Then lets hope the Kings get their **** figured out between now and then.

Lakers now have 2 late firsts.

Indiana wanted to 1sts and a starter? Clarkson/Randle or something?

Is it possible for the Nets to get even worse than last season? Has to be great to be Boston right now.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs
