Bellinelli + Hawes + couple 2nds or protected 1st for Rudy Gay. We need a go-to option on our bench, and I think he'd add some scoring punch when we need it in our starting unit as well. He's not on a cancerous contract like he was 3 years ago, and he's not a stupid chucker like he used to be.

Hornets out: Lamb & Belinelli
Hornets in: Jure Holiday
Why? Need a Lin replacement for scoring and ball movement.

Bucks out: Monroe
Bucks in: Omar Asik & Lamb
Why? Add interior defense and SG depth.

Pells out: Holiday & Asik
Pells in: Monroe & Belinelli
Why? Mostly a favor to Holiday, but Davis is probably one of the better fits for Monroe to be found around the league. Beli helps address SG depth.

There are all sorts of variations of this that could happen after Dec 14th. Hornets could add Roberts or get someone back like Novak ... or even Lance for the LOLZ.

My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Can't see why the Kings would do it. Didn't Hawes burn a lot of bridges there also?

I could see Gay buying in for an opportunity to restart his career and build for another big contract but unless he becomes a cancer in Sacramento we're going to have to offer some enticement to get him.

I brought up Jrue Holiday with Pelican fans last year, was trying to offload big Al onto them and they really seem to value him.
They wouldnt consider a trade like this, doesn't mean their front office wouldn't but just mentioning it

I would definitely take a flier on one of these two guys for a 2nd round pick - leaning Hunter

I am not sure how "valid" this rumor is, so I am posting it here, namely Zach Randolph to Charlotte:

Eh, I would actually be fine with Z-Bo as a go to scorer off the bench, but I wouldn't give up any real value for him. The issue I see with him is that we would have to pair him with Frank or Hawes, as Roy would be a terrible fit, but it seems like Clifford is already completely infatuated with Roy for some reason, so I don't see us making it work. Cliff would probably try to force playing him with Roy or Cody. If Memphis would take something like Roy + Beli + 2nd rd pick for Z-Bo + Vince Carter then maybe, but I can't see why they would do that and it would leave us once again severely lacking rim protection.

Kemba/Sessions/Roberts
Batum/Lamb/
MKG/VC/Graham
Marv/Z-Bo/Wood
Cody/Frank/Hawes

Not really sure if that is any better than our current rotation.

I wonder how little they are asking for him? I don't know why they'd want Belinelli or Hawes, but If all they are looking for is filler and a second round pick or two then I would definitely do it. I've always thought he would work well here. I think he has the potential to be a more dynamic version of Marv for us. I'd start him out on the bench, but if things worked out he could potentially resign here and take over Marv's spot next season.

They just traded us Marco, and Hawes was openly for moving the Kings to Seattle. No way they would take either player.

Why don't we give Marco a shot first before trading him away. We felt the same way when we acquired Marvin and Jefferson

I really wish we could find a way to upgrade at backup point guard. I'd kill to get Rubio but I'm not sure we'll be able to outbid the competition - mainly San Antonio.

If the Spurs offered Green and Mills straight up for Rubio and we offered Sessions, Lamb, and a pick which offer do you guys think Minnesota would prefer?

The former.

I'd rather target Tyus Jones - he's still only 20, has real potential as a passer and shooter, and he's locked down for cheap for a while.

I'd love to get Jones, but as a third PG not the main guy behind Kemba. He's too inexperienced to step into that role on what should be a solid playoff team (crosses fingers).
