2017 Summer League

Hornets are going back to Orlando.

Any guesses as to which Hornets & Swarm players will be on our summer league team? I'd at least like to see Weber, Graham, JOB and our two rookies out there, along with perhaps Perry Ellis and Cat Barber from the Swarm.

Apparently Perry Ellis has joined the NBL in Australia for the summer, so I doubt we'll see him in the summer league.

One of Perths guards is playing for Dallas, they can normally do both and encourage it for the exposure.

On a related note, the great Andrew Gaze will be his coach.

Can Monk average 20+ppg on efficient shooting as our primary scorer?
What else will he be able to show us? I'd hope for some play making and at least effort on D.

Can Bacon average 15+ppg on efficient shooting as our secondary scorer?

Hope Karnowski can bounce back from that championship game...he couldn't find a bucket to save his life. With that said, I'm excited to see what he can do

I love the thought of Silas working with Monk. Malik needs to glue himself to him, he's in good hands.

Here is the full summer league roster. Monk, Bacon, Weber, Graham and OBryant will all be taking part. Suilamon from the Swarm will be on the team as well. I am actually just as excited to see Weber, Graham and OBryant as I am to see Monk. Those 3 should feast in a summer league setting. Gabe York was on our summer league team last year.

Curious to see if the Hornets go small or big for starting lineup.

Big
Weber, Monk, Graham, JOB, Karnowski w/ Bacon and Suilamon as 1st subs

Small
Weber, Monk, Bacon, Graham, JOB w/Suilamon as 1st sub
