Honestly didn't know this guy existed until like 3 weeks ago.

Name is way too generic to be any good.

Plus there are two Collins in the same draft class - and they aren't related.

That just screams bad news.

Knack for scoring, good athlete. Good size. Young, is expanding range. Could be a better defender....he is 19 though so it could most likely improve. Everytime I watched him I was impressed for how young he is, and his ability to carry his fair share of offense. He's coming off a breakout year. Put some NBA caliber coaching behind that logically works. He will be be better than Giles.

You don't risk taking anyone as bad as he is defensively in the top 11 picks. He really needed another year in college. If you're going to take a risk on "what ifs" and "maybes" then Giles is your man not this kid.

Zach and John Collins are two of the most generic names. **** Dejounte and Jamal Murray are not.

Now you know why they're doing okay

Who cares about names. Dude put up nearly 20 and 10 at 19 years of age. Defense can be taught. He checks out all the other boxes though.

Seems like this guy has a chance to become a very solid rim runner/PnR type big that is so important in the league currently.

Don't underestimate the impact of a players projected pro career on two factors:

1. Name
2. Hairstyle

Combine tests are interesting and win shares have their place, but names and hairstyles? THAT'S what you need to be looking at.

Og has the coolest name. He's my second choice if we don't go for Collins.

Allen from Texas.

If we traded back I'd be willing to take J. Collins in the 20's but no way at 11.

I highly doubt he's there in the 20s. Maybe 15 with Portland, but definitely not the 20s...
