Holy ****. After that 5th goal I am convinced they could have won 10-0 if they tried after the first 30 minutes.

that's a good one.

but still... I bet more 43-8s happen during the NFL season than 7-1s in competitive football.

Now we need all the other young players to keep developing. Who out of this young bunch do you see becoming the best players on the national team in 4 years?

Christian Pulisic
Jordan Morris
Bobby Wood
Julian Green
Emerson Hyndman
Rubin Rubio
Gedion Zelalem
Matt Miazga
Deandre Yedlin
John Brooks
Will Trapp

Then you have the guys that should be in their prime or just about to enter their prime

Michael Bradley
Jozy Altidore
Fabian Johnson
Darlington Nagbe
Arron Johansson (he's been hurt most of the year)
Gyasi Zardes

We still seem to be missing a true defensive midfielder among these two age groups.

Alejandro Bedoya, Omar Gonzalez, Ethan Finley would be in their primes too. probably some others too.

not sure who will be the best, but Christian Pulisic and Miazga are probably the best ones. that group has a higher ceiling than the current group had for sure.

need to find the future goalkeeper, Howard is older than dirt and Guzan sucks.

Pulisic and Brooks are the two big ones for me. There's a lot of bright talents in that list though.

Brooks is already our best centerback imo

Nice. I watched the game on Sunday while waiting for Hornets. They showed it on one of those fox channels up in the 400s. Had it on in the background while I surfed and snacked.

Morris, Pulisic, Wood, Hyndman, Miazga, Yedlin, Brooks, Kitchen should be regulars for awhile. Zardes sucks though

Anyone else catch the USA v Ecuador game tonight? First half was a snoozefest, but second half US looked pretty solid, especially once Nagbe and Pulisic came on for Beckerman and Zardes. Dempsey needs to be used as a super sub.
