I miss the quick reply option as that's how I do 99% of my posting...namely because I surf while at work and it allowed to do a quick response and minimize the screen...the loading to get from one page to the other is killing me... I do miss the old lay out, although it really doesn't matter as you guys will keep this new layout/skin anyway...but this is the feedback I wanted to provide.

I'm sure most of these points have been hit, but:

1. No quick reply is just.. awful.
2. The colors need adjusting. My eyes start bothering while browsing here now, which has resulted in me doing it MUCH less.
3. The header is annoying and I'm bypassing it with a Firefox add-on now, but it's unfortunate because the old wiretap feature was convenient and not imposing on the entire site.
4. The fixed width is.. unfortunate.

Am I the only one who has to log in EVERY time I visit the site now even though I check the "automatically sign me in" box???? What's the deal with this? I pray it's a glitch because like everyone else, I liked the old system better.

I believe this was identified as an issue with cookie scope. If you go to www.realgm.com to login, and then always come back to www.realgm.com, it may work just fine. But if you go to www.realgm.com to login, and then go to realgm.com (no www), then you may appear to not be logged in.

For me, the troubling lingering issue is that it seems like the state of which threads I've visited is being stored client side. If I read threads at work, and then check in from home, those threads do not appear to have been previously viewed.
