Yep, Wade shut down Ray Allen in Boston, and averaged 30/7/5 in that series.

The Mavs zone is frustrating him. He's being forced to take shots he normally does not take.

And its not just Lebron. The Heat are playing a better team than anything thrown at them from the East.

What's REALLY shocking to me more than the 8 point outing is LeBron's turnover numbers. How the hell does a guy who's only getting up 14 FGApg manage to turn the ball over a whopping 3.5 times a game?

Meanwhile, Wade who's averaging 20FGApg is only turning the ball over 1.5 times a game.

LeBron's numbers are especially astonishing for a manchild who is supposedly the greatest passer the game has ever seen since Magic, Stockton, Nash and Kidd combined. :roll:

Currently watching the 2010 All Star Game and I feel like crying watching LeBron in it. He was a completely different animal then. Displaying the sort of speed, quickness, agility and explosiveness you have NEVER, EVER seen from him as a Heat. ^This is such a telling clip. You know the gifs I posted where LeBron couldn't even drive past big men and ended up humiliating himself? Now watch him here, he eludes his man(neither a C nor PF) with such incredible ease. Just look at the quickness he displays here off-the-dribble! How people can still maintain current LeBron isn't a shell athletically? You'll never, ever see him do this today.

Even with this poor series, it's still much better than Wade's horrific ECF, and he's been better in the post-season overall.

Lebron quit in gm 4 because he was pouting about him not winning finals mvp. Wade will close the deal and take prince james for the ride to his first nba title. There is no excuse for what lebron did or did not do in gm 4. Its one thing to have a bad shooting game, but its another to not show effort. In gm 7 of last years nba finals kobe bryant shot poorly but not one person who is not a kobe hater and lebron homer question his effort from start to finish. That is why lebron will never be jordan or kobe, along with not being as skilled as them.

Except that he had this same choke job last year agaisnt the Celtics. If the Heat go on to lose this series and LeBron doesnt start playing better, his legacy is going to get crushed. Games are forgotten, but Finals series? They mean everything. People bring up Kobes 2004 Finals every time his legacy is brought up.

Look at the numbers carefully, Wade was the best player in the Boston series, and had the toughest assignment shutting down Ray Allen. D Wade has also been the best player in the NBA Finals. Which is the playoff round they hand out individual trophies for. The Finals is where great players become all time greats. D Wade is a proven player with the big game, big moment gene, LeBron has always struggled in these moments. Just look back at last season against Boston, when he not only lost, but quit on his team. Something you would never see out of D Wade. Go back to the NBA Finals against the Spurs, Bron was less than stellar, and got swept.

So it's not one series, it's at the very lease three crucial legacy changing series. So far Bron is 0-2 in these three series, and might be 0-3 if Dwyane Wade doesn't bail his backside out.

And eight points man, eight points, so very pathetic. Plus he Bron got bitch slapped by Terry, and Marion all game as they scored on him at will.

One series last season against Boston ....

The series in the Finals against the Spurs ....

Watch those series, and you will understand why LeBron is being hammered. He quit on his team in one of them. He played bad against the Spurs, and got swept. And against the Dallas Mavericks, he's been terrible, and actually checked out of a game mentally, and scored 8 points, while Jason Terry, and Marion scored on him at will, and trash talked him.

I understand what ur saying, but how did Wade have the tougher assignment in the Boston Series, while Lebron was checking the Better Player in Paul Pierce?, PPl can bring up the Finals, but in my opinion i feel the sameway about it as Laker Fans, when sum1 brings up Kobe's bad games in the Indiana Series..LBJ in my opinion was not in his Prime yet..I was amazed that he beat Det..He wasnt ready for those Spurs...So that being one of the crucial series in his career, idk..The Boston series, I agree and if he loses this won, well then any criticsm is def. deserved.

idk if thats true, and at this point i dont care, he needs to step it up, last yr, the word is by many sources that his mother had slept with his teammate, so ok I was Leinant on his Game 5 performance, I could see how that could affect some1...But even if his wife did cheat, thats no excuse leave that s#it off the court, you should be mentally stronger after what transpired last season, nobody wants to hear that BS, I dont even blieve, but either way it doesnt matter.

Paul Pierce was injured in that series. And Ray Allen had one of the most efficient seasons, with nearly hitting 50/45/90 from the field. Ray Allen had a season for the ages. And Ray Allen is a more difficult guy to guard because it's a track meet. The Boston offense runs him off two and three screens not once, but twice in the same possession. Add to the fact that D Wade ran with Allen in that track meet the entire series, and averaged 30/7/5. It's not that hard to understand how Wade had the tougher assignment.
